Think we're in for an enjoyable rest of the season if the likes of Bobby and Skipp can keep up this upturn in form.

Premature to say he's Prem quality though - he played enough last season and was an absolute ghost, and he'll be another year older if we were to do the unthinkable and somehow shithouse promotion through the playoffs. That said, never fully understood the stick he got, he was largely anonymous (Brighton goal aside) but we had far bigger problems and primadonnas to deal with who were actively contributing to our relegation (and have continued to drag us down this season until Marti grew a pair).

As it is, he's a very, very good asset at this level and making a mockery of our forward line at the moment in terms of his shooting accuracy. Long may it continue, fast becoming a bit of a cult hero.

He is probably our third best player at the moment, behind James and Fatawu.

Blasphemy towards Skippy

But with Nelson, Vestergaard looking better alongside Nelson, Skipp and James with BDR, suddenly the spine of the side is looking really good for this level. Stolarcryk needs to just sort his concentration out. He’s still a very good keeper. We are a striker away from the spine being sorted. Wingers are doing their bit. Striker and left back are the weaknesses.

Credit where credit is due to Bobby.

But he was a hideous signing last summer, we lost our best CM in KDH yet for a very bizarre reason never tried to replace him with a like for like player.

If Bilal or Facundo were playing as the 10 (yeah I said it) in this grotty league, they’d have even greater numbers as they’re better players especially in 2025.

As others have said, signing Bobby to play out wide and was often started alongside Vardy and Ayew as a front three, was always going to get the honking outcome that we all witnessed last season.

Bobby is genuinely a level above where we are. Luckily for him we’ve paid him more than any of the shit teams in the prem would.

He’s not good enough for the Premier League. If he was he’d still be at Fulham.

He might be a useful squad player for one of the teams fighting relegation but that, by definition, means that he’s not really good enough for the Premier League

I always think he's underrated. One thing about him is that he's really efficient in front of goal. Converts his chances. Provides assists.

He got both assists in the game against spurs last season so has a knack of being able to get involved in key moments.

Didn’t Fulham offer him a 2 year deal , and we offered him 3 years ?

Monga's disappearance, BDCR's resurgence, Tommy G's post, it can't all be a coincidence.

Don’t lol it’s brought back memories of Dave Rennie getting fired because he caught Maddison hanging out the back of Barnes…. Or whatever twitter nonsense it was!!

Well that tells you all you need to know really. A two year deal screams “squad player we’re looking to move on in a year”

Cult hero...he scoring nearly every game unlike Daka

And he makes it look so easy, his first touch sets it up for him to finish. He gets in the right position during an attack. If Bilal had that level of poise he would’ve a great player.

The complete opposite of what Daka has done for the last two seasons. At this point can he really classed as a forward. There isn’t even a role he can adapt and pivot to as his touch is terrible no matter where he is on the pitch.

If you can’t see that was a typo and supposed to be KICK - I’ll leave it unedited for the laugh.

Every one realizes it was a typo.... that's what makes it funny !!

This will have been mentioned already, but he’s now looking like the player we thought we signed from Fulham. Also seems as though he’s now playing in optimum condition, which probably hasn’t always been the case.

Not sure if already been mentioned, but interesting looking back on when Marti was interviewed, by OPA on BBC RL I think, and him speaking about BDCR with such significance. I remember being puzzled at the time as many others were.

Ugghh what a wordy sentence and acronyms much 😂

One thing that stood out for me, more than the goal, was just how good we carry the ball forward now and look a genuine threat.

His, and Ayew's, intelligence in bringing others into play is so good. With the threat on each wings that we possess we really can blow any team away at this level.

Saturday was the best we've managed a game and even though they still put us through it because of the mistake, we look like we are learning from the hideous game management in recent weeks. There's a lot to be positive about.
