Then after 15-20 mins he vanished, decided to not leave the shoulder of the centre half.

You are allowed to look for space, but it involves running of the ball.

Imagine thinking it’s sensible to have Bouba and Skipp on the bench when Reid clearly won’t last 90 minutes.

 

Page should have made the bench as a minimum but also considered for offering some fresh legs and impetus as a Reid substitute.

I have strong dislike for Faes, Soumare etc but I just feel embarrassed for Reid. 
 

The lad is an absolute nothing of a player. No pace, no guile, questionable technique too.

Yup, and embarrassingly I fell into the trap last year of thinking; OK, he’s not a Premier League player but he’ll be a good first team regular in the Championship. Horribly wrong!
