Spain were miles better but only because Mr Pragmatic let them dominate us. 
 

On the pitch, we had 10 minutes of decent play and we scored. Otherwise we just let them control the game and kept on giving them the ball back.

Don’t look for excuses, we have underperformed for the majority of this tournament during games, despite getting through, largely because we’ve played inferior teams.

I’m sorry but if you’re Watkins, Palmer or Toney you’re not bothered but at the same time the most angry.

 

They’re the players who have been the least trusted but arguably most important.

 

If I were them I’d be following Vardy’s attitude of “don’t bother selecting me mate”.

Class - glad the deserving team one. My man Southgate absolutely shown up, stumbled and fluked his way to a final (in a tournament we were favourites for). 

 

Naturally he'll get 4 more years and this young talented squad is gonna be absolutely wasted on him.

 

Congrats Spain, enjoy your celebrations!
