Galatasaray asked for a high rental fee from Crystal Palace. Palace is still on the table. As @David_Ornstein wrote, Leicester is also in the game for Zaha. The deal is not over yet. Galatasaray wants to earn a high rental fee and open up limits. The player said 'okay' to both clubs.

If that’s right smacks strongly of being used to get Zaha back to palace for more money than they originally offered. Meh

If we were both offering the same then Zaha would go back to Palace.  But Palace don't need him like we do so they'll likely not offer as much.

This doesn’t sound particularly close lol

Zaha is a proven, competent PL attacking player. We're in a bind this season with the impending points deduction and financial restrictions hanging over us. Relying on a few loans to somehow survive is a smart strategy.

I think it’s more likely to get what they want out of palace. I wouldn’t get our hopes up. He is a match winner so it would be just what we need in my opinion.

Noise coming out of Turkish journo’s seem to be hinting that Palace are still very much in the equation…can see this being another ‘nearly’ transfer to add to the others

No chance we get him - back to palace as olise replacement- he is a London boy through and through - we are simply being used to get them the money they want from palace

complete waste of excitement

He's not the player he was anyway else he wouldn't have joined a farmers league  ,I didn't rate him all that highly in the first place anyhows

The only positive we can take from this is that it looks like we are at least trying to get some quality in - from proper random places as well - yes it’s panic mode and yes it’s not a long term strategy but at least they are trying to do lots of things by the looks of it to give us any chance at all of staying up because let’s be brutally honest the team an squad we have at the minute finish rock bottom in this league and that’s without the points deduction- our odds of going down at 1/2 are absolutely mind blowing - 50% return on your money  - insane

It’s a shame but completely agree with this. 😟

The agreement between Galatasaray and Leicester City is left for wet signature. Zaha will go to England with a loan fee of 9 million Euros. The player will say goodbye to his teammates today.
