Ecstatic with the 3 points but he stills needs to go. We won today despite Cooper not because of him. He allowed them to build momentum in the 2nd half by persevering with tired legs for too long, he should have brought the likes of Fatawu and Edouard into the game much earlier to give us an attacking outlet.

There will be people in this thread tonight making out he’s the messiah and everyone who doesn’t believe in him aren’t Leicester fans and want to see the team fail blah blah blah but the writing is still on the wall, with better finishing from Bournemouth today they win that game and we’d be in the bottom 3.

To be fair he is Satan to the majority of posters in this thread. :) So it may add a bit of balance.

He is certainly not the messiah, he has lead a low confidence team to a hard earner, yet lucky victory. I just hope that if he does remain (not bothered either way) that he can cause the group to push on from here.

He’s tactically so limited it’s unreal. Faes was apparently shouting at the bench at one point to change it.

If you're referring to what I think you are, Faes was screaming at Mavididi for not sprinting to give Hermansen an option to start a counter.

Happy with 3 points.

But I am almost there with calls for Cooper out - not sure how much longer I like to keep my patience with Cooper.

Cooper was saved by a moment of brilliance and the post/bar a few times today.

Otherwise, we played like we are away from home playing a team a division higher.

We posed no threat whatsoever in the second half. We turned the ball over almost always instantly with no outlet to bring the ball upfield.  So so poor. We could not even keep the ball for more than 20 seconds. We had no clue.  If not for the post/bar and Bournemouth failing to capitalise on the numerous chances they had, we would have dropped points once again, at home.

Great to get three points, but so disappointed to see how we play. Second half was the worst this season. Totally dominated by Bournemouth at home.

We have a decent squad but we lack any plan and team selection is poor.

Cooper (almost) out.

Have you thought that Cooper maybe trying to play to the strengths we have? Those players looked elated to get 3 points today.  To me it looks like they are behind him and for me I'm pleased that we have 6 points.  Got to be honest our second half performance today was a concern but we are a work in progress.

We could be so much more threatening if he simply reacted quicker to what is happening on the pitch.

It’s genuinely Cooper himself holding us back from hurting teams. We can’t keep getting to the 70th minute with zero subs made. It’s just shooting yourself in the foot.

I feel so bad for Ricardo & Fatawu.

We do like to compare to previous managers. With Rogers his first 10-15 games were in February to May, where we were an established premier League team, mid table at the time, not much chance of getting relegated, fair play he did hit the ground running. Cooper hasn't had that luxury, granted Rogers threw away a lot of points in the last 20-30 minutes and we've done it what 3 times in 7 games this season. Is he the right guy hmmm probably not long term, but we are at where we are at, if he can keep us up this season I'd say he could get an offer elsewhere and we could go for someone the next level up. Lets see where we are after the next 3 games.

Do you not actually understand what your counter argument sounds like.

Of course he wanted the Job so did a number of managers however if you buy cheap you end up paying double or triple.

Do not try and justify that Leicester won't pay compensation when then are shelling out 3 year contracts for CBs and 8 million on Ayew.

It's so called supporters like you that are the problem

What do you actually know? I am guessing we were not an attractive proposition. It looked nailed in we would get points deducted.

I have been a so called supporter for 40 odd years and clearly you feel abusing someone because their view is not the same as yours is okay.

There's more than a touch of the Rogers here.

I make my subs on seventy minutes. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence. I make my substitutions on seventy minutes.

It is so frustrating. He needed to make a change at 50 minutes. And it didn't need to be a like for like change. It must be so predictable coming up against him. Their substitutions were made knowing the none of our players were changing.

I am doubting myself. I walked home and I could have sworn we won the game and that we played reasonably well and battled hard. It must have been a mirage. Get him out, we will never win a game. He is this that and the other. Filbert the fox could do better etc. I know he is not popular but we are a bottom 3-5 side and it is not going to be easy. We are doing okay. KTF.

I was pretty neutral about Cooper when we appointed him but he's burnt all the free passes we had.

Today might be the worst win I've ever seen. Wasn't even like it was a great backs to the wall performance, just negative and clueless. The standard of the football from both sides was atrocious yet we still gave up so many chances whilst creating next to none of our own. How he possibly decided that we only needed to make a change in the 70th min and didn't even use the full allocation is utterly bizarre.

Normally a win gives you some belief but I feel like this will have done very little in that regard

You thought we played reasonably well? Really. A win's a win but Bournemouth were awful and still cut us open time and again whilst we offered very little going forward.

Having taken a lot of flack, I think a win is a win and they and he got it. Still not been in the bottom 3 yet and now 5 in front of Wolves and Southampton. Let's be happy for a change!

Some of the comments on this thread are ridiculous.

I suspect some of you wanting Cooper out secretly want us to lose so as to hasten his departure.

I'm embarrassed to be a Leicester fan sometimes.

If, 2 years ago, we'd lost an extra game early on and that had prompted the board to replace Rodgers then, as long as the replacement was a little bit competent, the gain over the rest of the season would have been much more than the 3 points lost and would have kept us in the Prem.

So no, the comments on this thread aren't nonsense, but are based on the evidence of our performances and on the analytical abilities of fans who have followed Leicester for years and can see in which direction things are going.  On the basis of the performances so far, and the match choices made by Cooper, we will be very lucky to avoid relegation if he is kept on.

Were you one of those who ignored what you could see happening 2 years ago and wanted Rodgers to be given more time and chance after chance until it was too late?

6 points ain't bad.  It's all about staying up for me.

Martin and McKenna are both good managers and I like the way they set up.  However 1 point each says a lot about how hard this league is
