Popular Post LVFox Posted 31 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 31 October 2024 If a player had got suspended for being booked for dissent in a cup game with a big league match next up, he'd be getting pelters. Has bought the victim mentality Forest had about refs with him, and it's bloody annoying. 8
Fazzer 7 Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 He surely has to go after the defeat at Ipswich. 1

Or he could do some self reflection and look at the terrible choices that he is making himself. Sometimes decisions are key obviously but really not sure it would have impacted the result unless he is saying basically that goal being allowed to make it 2-1 affected your confidence and mind set . Which is going to be a worry in itself. Any people have said they’d rather see such “mistakes” mate honestly rather than have VAR. Edited 31 October 2024 by Super_horns
CosbehFox Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 It's bizarre behaviour to get yellow card for a goal that there is no scope to overturn. 1

Just got to accept it and move on. At the end of the day we were 4 down and he was still moaning about 1 goal. Officials aren't gonna suddenly overturn it.
RoboFox Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 Bloke's going nowhere whilst we're outside the relegation zone. The cups mean nothing this season. We just have to accept the malaise that has enveloped the entire club. 2

davieG Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 Best Mates. Cooper on Khun Top ‘I can see why this club has had the success it’s had with this ownership, because they make you feel like you want to do well’ ‘When you engage with him (Top) and meet him, he’s kind-natured. You feel comfortable around him, there’s definitely no fear, but a lot of respect. He’s got a big aura. You can be yourself’ 1
Happy Fox Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 Cooper must have thanked his lucky stars, to get this job. He was nowhere near first choice that's obvious, he's a glorified championship manager, the fact that only Burnley had him on their managerial shortlist says it all. Please get rid!!!

I can’t see any other outcome than him seeing our results mirror the performances which have been dire.

Parker Pen Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 I still don’t know whether we are scoring and getting our points because of him or despite him! To go from Enzo to Cooper are to polar opposites in management style and approach, this is the problem for the squad!

And as I said at the time he is very polished at talking to the media, but don’t be fooled. He did a great job at getting forest up but was bloody lucky at keeping them up, they were terrible and I’m still at a loss how we finished behind them. A large amount of their fans kept him in the job as he was seen as a hero for ending 23 years outside the top flight, I get that to an extent but the club could see he wasn’t up to it. He had many shortcomings, that he doesn’t seem to have learnt from. Poor tactics, poor game management and poor subs. He was also very stubborn and played his favourites. Balde was signed on loan and couldn’t get a game ahead of Worrall or McKenna, he went to Sevilla where he’s been superb and linked with big money move to Liverpool. Same with Santos from Chelsea. He didn’t get anything out of Hudson-Odoi or Chris Wood who are thriving under Nuno. Just two away wins in 1 and a half seasons. The happy clapper Forest fans who wanted Cooper to stay can now see the difference in class they have with their manager, and we picked up the cast off. All very disappointing. Some good points in there. Cooper did a fantastic job to keep us up, and you’re right - as a support base we thought he’d earned the right to get relegated with us, if it came to that. On your point about us coming above you, it’s very clear what made the difference. Forest and Everton had excellent goalkeepers, Leeds and Leicester had terrible ones.
Claudio Fannieri Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 The tide is starting to turn and it’s feeling like his lucky streak has come to an end, we are now getting punished for the numerous chances we are conceding, 8 goals in 2 games against teams not in great goalscoring form, the way Man Utd continually played through us was a massive red flag, our out of possession shape or lack of it is all over the place, so many gaps and it’s so easy to beat our press, the level of coaching and in game management is frankly appalling. We look an absolute shit show without the ball.

We see it with managers, players and even once players have left too. When Albrighton announced his retirement he was on the radio saying how the club is "well run" like come on man we got relegated. Paid off job.

Will never happen with this ownership. A lot of people in the midst of how great King Power are and how "lucky" we are just because there are a few worse owners. Can't think off the top of my head but scenes at West Ham, for example, when they all took to the pitch would never happen here.
foxfanazer Posted 31 October 2024 Posted 31 October 2024 (edited) Of course Cooper isn't going to criticise the ownership. The guy has won the lottery landing this job that he's massively under qualified for. Edited 31 October 2024 by foxfanazer 1 1
