That's a worry in itself that they think he's capable of sorting it out

There has been smatterings of reports of the club being unconvinced by him. Given at times it easier to get news out of North Korea than anything regards the inner workings of the club, I am not sure in this instance that no news does not necessarily mean his position is not under scrutiny. 
 

if he does survive this international break, the first game back vs Chelsea will be an interesting dynamic, especially given the return of Maresca et al and if we end up on the end of a sobering scoreline and performance then I think it will turn pretty toxic, there was audible boos at the end of the Forest game as there was yesterday as well, on top of Cooper cutting a fairly lonely figure in the centre circle at he end of the Carabao Cup mauling against United, all is far from well and I genuinely think the end is close, I will be amazed if he is still here come the turn of the year.

I think if we have a manager who is a lot clearer on his own ideas, which I believe Moyes would be, then I think the players wouldn’t have an issue

 

I think the current issue is that there does not appear to be much of an actual idea or plan so there isn’t really anything to try and get behind, which is why Cooper either wanted to try or was forced into trying the Enzo way

Our club is run by a very small group of people, none of whom ever speak to the media. Even if there were moves to get rid of him, most journalists wouldn't know about it until it's actually happened.

 

It comes down to whether the owners genuinely believe Cooper will keep us up. As long as they believe he will, he won't be sacked. But as soon as they lose faith him him, he'll be gone. Personally I don't think he'll be sacked during this international break, but a couple more losses might well do for him.

I was in the away end and can confirm this was chanted along with a very minor "we want Cooper out!" by a selection of fans

But yeah, it's not exactly a new trend for our club. Nine times out of ten the signings we make are absolute garbage, it's just every now and then we unearth an unbelievable talent and it skews opinion.

Let's be honest, most of the people in the stands were defending Rodgers right up until we dropped almost. 

 

The crowd isn't turning on Cooper yet.

I think it’s a case of wishful thinking, his remit would’ve been to avoid relegation. 
I don’t think he will be sacked until we are at least in the bottom 3 or cut adrift.

Here's my thoughts on Cooper that nobody asked for or wanted:

 

- he is consistently getting results that are better than the performances. At some point you have to question if it more than just luck (a la Carlo Ancelotti)

 

- offensively, there is little plan, and we only seem to attack when our backs are against the wall. When we do go for it, although it's chaotic, we have seemed quite effective, direct and causing problems

 

- defensively, despite Cooper making solidity a priority, we are lacking. This has been a major failing of his in my eyes. If you're going to set up to not concede at least have the decency to not concede

 

- overall, I am Cooper Out. I think he has been effective so far but it still feels far too much based on luck. However, it is a gamble to replace somebody who is getting results. I would want to see clear evidence of a more concrete and effective plan, and give him a few more games up until Jan, before making the decision .

It's not happening is it? I think we would have heard something by now if it was. Just so disheartened by it all. It is so clear to me that Cooper just doesn't have a clue, how can the hierarchy at the club just not see it. Is there such a big disconnect with the club and ownership now that they just don't care anymore?

 

I have been a season ticket holder for over 17 years and at no point have I felt like this, such a big space between us the fans and the club. If there was a home game this weekend I really would think twice before going if he was still in charge.
