Is it just me or does the texture on that bother anyone else? Looks like a wrinkled old ball-sack.

Might inspire our front 3 to understand what to do with a football, given the wrinkly old ball sacks they've got!

I think Tielemans is a confidence player brilliant in a good team but a liability when things aren’t going the team’s way.

He can lift a good team to the next level. I doubt we’d have won the FA Cup without him or been in Europe so much.

But blimey he’s bad when the team’s in a bad way. Let’s not forget we also signed him from a Monaco side he was nearly relegated playing for and whose fans were desperate to get rid.

Said that exact same thing to a couple of my Villa supporting mates. He’s absolutely brilliant when things are going well but when the going gets tough he goes missing.

He was exactly what we didn’t need in that relegation season. It didn’t help that his contract was running out so he knew he was off anyway but his performances were abysmal and he should have been taken out of the team but we kept clinging to the hope he’d recapture some sort of form.
I fully expect his form to drop at some point soon as the minutes catch up with him

Ah, yours have got those blue lines on as well? Good to know it's not just me

Have we dropped our level in the last 3 years because the quality of opposition has also got better? I do believe this Wolves team is better than the Wolves team that were finishing in the top half when Coady was playing for them. I know PSR and poor recruitment have affected us but is it also not a double whammy of the league getting stronger as a whole also.

Slightly stronger but no excuse fur what we've witnessed the last 2 seasons for us in PL.

I'd say we are the worst team in the top 5 leagues at the moment. (Yes I think Southampton could beat us it's that bad)

It's that fact that we're not very competitive any more.

The quality of some opposition has got better.

But then you look at Man Utd and Spurs who are significantly worse than say 4 or 5 years ago.

It's no excuse to be in the position we're in. We don't even get the basics right.

I get the frustration around these checks, but there's so many elements in that to check and ensure are correct with players coming from so many positions to challenge/interfere. If they rush that and get it wrong and Manchester United come back on them there would be so much sh*t caused.

Ideally Man Utd get pumped, sack Amorim, ask about reappointing RvN, we get rid, maybe even compensated, then bring in our lord and saviour. Jorge Jesus.

Everton at better than evens today did seem a gift. Utd are abject. If the promoted sides had more about them then Utd would genuinely have been in trouble.
