Taking the entire coaching team and the star player is certainly working towards dismantling tbf.

Coaching staff leaving with the manager is pretty much the norm and it's a tradition that one of our players joins Chelsea each summer.

Thought Enzo showed more flexibility in that game then he did at any point with us to be honest.

Pre season he had 42, mostly expensive, players to choose from.

Mike Stowell was our Gk Coach from 2007 to 2023. Enzo got rid of him, replaced him and then took his replacement less than 12 months later. Adam Sadler was at the club from 2014, same thing happened to him. He dismantled the coaching team and then took all the replacements away too. He took out star player. It’s not the norm for a manager to leave and then take his best player to his next club. Probably the last time was when O’Neill took a few back in the day but even he left Izzet!

Some of us need to get over the Enzo thing. Yes it'll be funny if his wallpaper-paste football fails at Chelsea, but he did the job required of him. Don't waste your energy on him, or at the very least direct it further north at willing failure on someone who actually put our club in this position.

Far bigger problems at Leicester City than him no longer being in charge. We'd still have a KDH-sized hole in midfield on account of our board's financial negligence, it'd have just been a West Ham or Brighton that poached him instead.

And O'Neill was our last manager to leave of his own choice.

Think Chelsea did well today.was always going to be a tough opening game for them. Enzo probably doesn’t even know his best 11 yet so I think they’ll get better. Top 5.

Stowell was famously despised by most of our fans who argued he made every keeper worse. Taking your coaching team is normal. Star player less so but KDH was always going as a result of the gross mismanagement of the finances

don"t understand bitterness to Enzo, we're all slating the board but then criticise enzo for leaving, enzo knew we were screwed and left.

If I was the leicester manager, and was was getting booed because we lost 1-0 and still being top of the league I might have thought 'well F them' to be honest.

Enzo was twerking in the shop window to whoever would look all last season in fairness. We all knew it was a stepping stone job but it's fair for fans to be a bit annoyed when he legs it less than a year later, even if we understand the reasoning.

Refreshing our coaching team was actually a smart move by Enzo.

KDH had to leave for PSR reasons so think your anger at Enzo is misguided and should be at the 5hit show of a club/board.

First half sounded decent but City had it easy after the break from what I heard.

I think Chelsea will finish top 6 but I think it’s too early to say he’ll have success. His style will always look better against sides that don’t bunker. Let’s see how they handle the counter. We struggled against those scrappy sides last season.

Useful win for Brentford against Palace - the type of game they'll need to win to stay out of the danger zone. I didn't see the game, but thought the doom predictions for them were overdone.

I guess technically you could say Rodgers was this - with his choice being to get handsomely paid to leave.

The point is that you can't take players or coaches if you've nowhere to take them.
