Yeah no-one is surprised, we've all said it will happen,  it's the way football is going, actually the way sport in general is going. 

 

The money is in American and Saudi, so more and more high profile games will be played there.  Plus those countries also want to push for their own agenda's which at least as far as the US is more involvement in how football is run, which competitions are held where and which teams can compete. 

 

I said the stepping stone would be the the expanded world club championships, and it seems i was correct,  the US has been the driving force with the added benefit of US teams being involved which is what they ultimately want.

 

The next generation will grow up with this being the norm and their local team playing regularly in other countries.

A glimpse into the future as the Interplanetary Soccer Super Bowl is due to KO at 7 pm Eastern Mars Time on Mars.

 

Old fan moaning - Footballs dead I remember when it was just the Intercontinental Soccer Super Bowl , them where the days when football oops Soccer was at it's best. If they think I'm paying £30 Billion dollars to watch that :nono:

I presume Feyenoord couldn’t put a clause in that he wasn’t allowed to play ?

I don't want them to because or Rodgers but it'd be pretty special it Celtic were to somehow nab a result here and qualify over Bayern against all odds.
