Mavididi was always going to struggle with the step up considering how he played January onwards, hopefully the competition this season pushes him on to improve

I want to back Cooper but how tf can you back that line up?

 

I worry the game will go something like this.

 

30 minutes of backs to wall containment

Goal to Spurs.

HT

Containment for 10 minutes

Goal to Spurs

Another goal to Spurs

More containment by us to keep the score down, Spurs stop playing but get board and score again just before full time.

Asking Ricardo to do that is a waste.

That is fair. But we’ve seen that Cooper has not been starting Riccy through the last 3 preseason games so we know it’s more than that.
