Said it before, he's an excellent presser and we don't do that enough as a team.

Definitely. Problem is it means he presses on his own (and not the only player where that happens) and nobody goes with him. Wasted energy for nothing. Think you either have a very intense press or you go the title winning style, where we did actually press a lot but there were very clear zones of engagement, so if you didn't win the ball at that point, you sit in.

On BEK, he's got a touch of class; the technical quality of that goal last night is outstanding. His challenge in his career will be about how he can impose himself on games.

Interesting given last nights game, where we were pressed into submission my a team that haven't done that for years... it's clearly something that can be implemented quickly!

It’s just instruction isn’t it. You either go for a low block, a high, fast press or neither if you’re managed by Steve Cooper.

we just hang out near our goal lol

It's very obvious to see that he's got the sort of guile and craft we've been crying out for, with some delightful, intelligent passes and the willingness to work and press.

Yes he's young and will make mistakes but his lack of game time is yet another damning indictment of the limitations of Cooper as a manager.

Quite impressive first half and linked quite well with Soumare but none of the attackers were on his wavelength. Often good work from him then the ball went out to McAteer who has nothing one v one.

Need get Bilal and Buonnatte linked up.

Quite liked him on the left actually. Could be an option to explore in a game where he’ll have more opportunity to get forward.

Before Fatawu got injured I felt a 3-4-2-1 with El Khannouss and Bounanotte behind Vardy would have been worth looking at. We need to get more stability defensively and have creativity and bravery in the final third.

Play him in the 10 with facu drifting off the right please!

Kids only 20 years old & has better vision than any of the team, can’t be arsed seeing the ball bounce off wilfs shins any longer!!

You can tell he's settling into the pace of English football more and more with every game.

Looks to be a really good signing if played correctly.

Faded badly 2nd half, but showed more than enough first half to suggest he is a talent. Some lovely footwork, vision and weight of pass, just a shame it was mostly to get out of tight spots in our own half rather than around the opponents box.

There is a player there! He had them on toast some moves in that first half. Needed better link up play with the midfielders which we were missing from Facundo today. But he may well have an opportunity to shine now with Abdul obviously away and I hope he can take it

Gonna be a star in next season

In another team what ever league we're in if he gets plenty of game time this season.

The only bright spark yday. Looked tidy and very comfortable on the ball.

with fatawu injured he should feature quite a lot now. Interested to see his development

Cooper undoubtedly not up to job. But to be honest so is Bilal

Can’t see us staying up with Fatawu injured. Players we bought in over summer (partially Cooper’s fault) are just not good enough

Far too early to say.  He's started to show signs of being a very good player, we won't know anything until he's had a run of games.

We've redefined the meaning of "goalhanger"  under Cooper. :( Hopefully we'll move on from that now :scarf:

Bilal is most likely to get a good run of games now with Facundo operating off the right and Mavididi on the left and him sitting behind Vardy…..subject to new manager.

2 issues we will have is that the right side will be even more open and JJ will no doubt be getting picked out for more criticism & the bench will look very weak for mixing things up attack wise.
