Devastating to wake up to this.

The two goals against Manchester City where they just couldn't live with his aerial threat, the chant, the fact he seemed like such a lovely bloke who always played with a smile on his face as well as the bravery that won him his battle with cancer, it's all gutting.

Sven, Shakey and Bamba all passing within a month. Gutted.

RIP.

Probably my son's first ever 'favourite player'. Tragic. RIP Sol.

Anything from the club on this yet? Seen stuff from others, but not us.

RIP Sol. Seems he was a cult hero at every club he played at. Always remember Man City where he had something like 8 shots on goal and it being more than the entire Man City team. ….. legend.

Losing a football match is pretty much irrelevant when you hear such sad news. Such a shock after appearing to win his battle with cancer. RIP big man and thanks for the memories on Filbert Way.
