Really good first half, terrific  goal from Vards.
Okoli gives us the physicality we needed, and he’s looking a decent acquisition.Bit more clinical around the goal and it’s in the bag!

I really like Ayew not gonna lie. Bit of a shithouse, got some good ball control and understands the game well. Sure he's not the goalscorer we wanted. But he seems like a more than worthwhile addition so far.

I must say, this is a lot better than I dared hope. Although Glenn Whelan will still have you believe Palace had the best half and Nketiah is the best player to grace the Premier League.

What’s causing us difficulties to me is our flat 4’s in defence against a Palace attacking shape that is more staggered - and letting their better passers too much time on the ball.

 

Good to get into halftime in front though to regroup and go again.

Great half, Palace had chances too. Need to take this away from them, still be patient but keep sharp.

It looks like a good time to play Palace. I thought they’d be good this season, but they’ve lost a few key players and don’t look like a coherent team firing yet. We look good, other than JJ giving space to their left winger. 
 

We look like we’ve got the measure of them, but they can turn it around at home and as it’s us I’m not that confident. But so far so good.

Good half tbf rode our luck a couple times but on the whole good performance. Midfield has been solid
