MOTD - penalty shout!

Was I enjoying too many Baileys Coladas or did I miss the debatable  penalty in our game? Did MOTD just ignore it?

They just air brushed it out. Discussed the Palace possible pen, but completely ignored our blatant pen.

There was a coming together at one point, but I was the other side of the stadium, so I couldn't tell either way.

I presume 2nd half. As I sit right behind the goal Kop end. I just don't remember even the crowd reacting to anything.

If you're talking about the Edouard one then it most definitely wasn't a penalty. I think somebody has tied his boot laces together before he came on

You’re never gonna get a penalty when most of the crowd and most of the players don’t even shout for it.

First half, Handball shout, Kop End, crowd did shout for hand ball

It was in the first half, Mavididi crossed the ball and it hit the outstretched arm of the Bournemouth defender. Looked a stonewall penalty on tv.

It would've been given last season. Possibly this season if the players and crowd made more of it.

As said, if that’s allowed, then star-fishing to block a cross is now allowed I assume? 
 

Also MOTD missed that and the other Vardy 1v1… plus a few of our fluffs near goal (more understandable for these).

I figured that they viewed the player as too close to the cross to be considered a deliberate action.

Not discussing if I agree, but just saying I imagined that was the logic behind the decision they arrived at.

(Oh, and they are structurally corrupt and hate us)

Didn’t look like a pen to me, and I had a good view from the Kop.  Mav’s too close to the defender.  I wouldn’t be happy if a pen was given against us for that.
