If we were to have such a thing, who would you invite and why? Assuming the commonality will be our support for the club. None of my suggestions are meant to be patronising. Just based on the impression I get from their presence and posts on here.

 

For me I'd invite, in no particular order or preference, and I must admit the list is pretty endless. We'd need to hire the De Mont.

 

@Trav Le Bleu insightful and amusing.

 

@Izzy seems a bit like me, although I don't play golf. And to hear his shit jokes go down like Tumbleweed GIF - Find on GIFER

 

@FoxesDeb genuine, honest and well informed. 

 

@tom2711 in case I need  car in the future, gotta keep these types sweet.

 

@Wymsey Just because he follows me. lol And comes across as someone genuinely concerned for others.

 

@leicsmac Because the world needs people like him. 

 

@Suzie the Fox I need to keep up with her Wordle count.

 

That's my initial 5 minutes of thinking.

 

There could also be a humorous list of those you might be less inclined to meet up with.

The one I remember is he saved a girl from a sexual assault and she then slept with him that night. Unbelievable imagination. As you say just a strange guy

Yeah Tincy was just a bit unsettling tbh – said he'd saved a girl from a sexual assault in Bede Park then took her back to his for some food and a shag. Think his exact line was "she got fed and fed some more." Then he made numerous accounts that were very clearly him and each one was just as bizarre.

I'd invite Mark so hopefully he could finally get whatever issue he has with me off his chest and stop preventing me from using the site in a way that had never caused problems before.

No I can't. I'm banned from general news for a completely reasonable post that I put effort into. I've been banned from other topics seemingly at random too. 

 

I've PMed Mark, I've even sent him an Email. He has never replied. I have PMed other Admins and they have replied as is the decent way to treat another person. But they have said the same thing 'this is Mark's site he makes the rules'. 

 

Would you be happy being treated like that? 

 

I would be happy to let it go because I just want to be able to post here without walking on invisible eggshells. 

 

If there was an alternative I would leave. But there is only the prehistoric talking balls and Bentley's Roof, neither are particularly appealing. I'm sure there are LCFC social media pages on places like Facebook and Reddit but they aren't structured to foster community. 

 

A by product of this behaviour is I haven't felt so keen on connecting more emotionally with anyone so I'm less inclined to attempt to be supportive or really put any effort.

I miss a heck of a lot from here who used to regulars back in the day.

 

Like Daggers said about the former S&R crowd, who were always good pre and post match company, as well as the founders of UFS, who largely came from here. 

 

It's been way too long. I need to get back down to Leicester soon, albeit with a very excitable four-year-old in tow nowadays.
