Vardy

Mavididi, Facundo, Fatawu

@moore_94 you're not wrong, fair play. That's got to be the attacking lineup moving forward.

Fatawu got a lot of the plaudits and rightly so but worth also pointing out Winks significantly upped the tempo of the game and got us ticking also.

Hopefully he finally gets it that those are the attacking players he needs to start with

Unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised to see him now drop Mavididi for Forest...

JJ defends better at LB than at RB regardless of his footedness.

VK is just not good enough technically.

I've always preferred Justin on the left and our record with VK in the team is terrible, he shouldn't have just walked back in either after what we did last season.

Where's those Jordan Ayew haters now?! Let me at them!

I’ll take the goal and pleased for him but he nearly gave away a pen and several fouls.

As long as he’s not keeping Fatawu or Fac out of the starting line up.

Yes. Thought winks passing control and tempo was noticeably an improvement. As for leaving out fatawu why has it taken this long when twenty thousand fans could all see that was the way to go. Great fight back though and two in the trot.

He'll bring in Ayew for Mavididi, keep VK in the side and we'll be completely impotent down the left.

This will let Forest weight their defence towards the right, they'll double up on Fatawu who will get marked out of the game and get dropped the week after.

Yeah. Literally most blatant penalty you’ll get.

Can’t knock the comeback or the tactics but the answers were there werent they?

My problem is that I should be feeling that this was a massive win in the context of our season, but I don’t.

For 60 minutes of that game Southampton were the better team. We looked technically and tactically poor. I’m probably more worried than I was before today, but maybe I should just take the win and move on to the next one. It feels a long time since we’ve been on the right side of a dramatic late win :scarf:

Mav and Fatawu need to play to push each other as well.

Having a right wing and not shifting the whole team to the left helped, who would’ve thought.

JJ was still poor on the left, got bullied a few times by that teenager.
