FLAN Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Seems Lanpard agrees with me on Soumare being lazy for the first goal.
Popular Post Larry_LCFC Posted 10 November 2024 Popular Post Posted 10 November 2024 (edited) It really pisses me off when you read comments along the lines of "it's not Cooper's fault if players make mistakes". Cooper is the one responsible for instilling discipline in these players, Cooper is the one coaching them, Cooper is the one that's supposed to fill them with confidence. Fair enough, one off howlers you can't put at Cooper's door but these sloppy, common, regular mistakes that all the players seem to be making are entirely the managers fault. jonny_wright Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Looking at the first goal again, Soumare standing there and walking, completely his fault not getting tight 2
leicesterlad1989 Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 United genuinely are poor, which really shows how bad we are. Our full backs are dreadful.
HankMarvin Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Fingers crossed, he has one of his inspiring team talks lined up. Let’s be positive 2
Merging Cultures Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Half time commentators highlighting Soulmate strolling around for the first goal.

l444ry Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Think picking Soumare and Wilf Roger in the midfield and putting Buonanotte as an inverted winger is not working out. Whatever the Manager does, we just have not got that bit of craft in the final third. Need the next goal then anything can happen. The opposition ain’t that good to be honest.

A well drilled unit would match this sub standard Utd team no problem, but we are not well drilled at all. No hope, just despair. At least Fatawu is taking the piss out of Dalot, who is only not on a yellow because he wears a red shirt at Old Trafford. Oh well. Yep, all these bit part teams in The PL with decent managers - Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth etc - they are all light years ahead of us. This is not 1990s Utd, a well drilled team can match them. A League 1 team in the cup would be doing better in this match than we are. We are crap all over the pitch, Cooper’s only tactic is to hope someone does something amazing 3 times a match.

cruzFOX Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Farce in both goals just look like a flippin lemon standing there helpless. Can judge the flight of the ball and misses his headed clearance. If he does that right there is no goal simple. The build up to both goals there are too many players watching and not enough closing the space down. as for out few chances why did N’didi choose to pass that into the goal when it was better to blast it in or go around banana? Great opportunity wasted after a nice 1st touch to bring the ball down. and where the hell is Vardy today?

Then the Buonanotte foul on the edge of the box, who they've clearly adapted tactics to swarm and pull back whenever possible. We haven't been great either. 1st goal completely switched off from a throw in, bang, goal. Ndidi might've done better with his chance. This is what infuriates me more than anything, the absolute bias that exists when playing at old Trafford. So obvious yet no pundit or commentator ever comments on it

StevieH Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 This will be a slow slide into relegation zone. No points today or in next 2 games against Chelsea and Brentford.
Simonb Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Chuck Bilal on for Bouba and then just close our eyes for 45 mins and wake up winning 4-3
Haywood_6 Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Debating whether I even watch the second half. Such a poor performance so far
Corky Posted 10 November 2024 Posted 10 November 2024 Away games are going to be utterly grim without opposition red cards. 1
