It really pisses me off when you read comments along the lines of "it's not Cooper's fault if players make mistakes". Cooper is the one responsible for instilling discipline in these players, Cooper is the one coaching them, Cooper is the one that's supposed to fill them with confidence. Fair enough, one off howlers you can't put at Cooper's door but these sloppy, common, regular mistakes that all the players seem to be making are entirely the managers fault.

Think picking Soumare and Wilf Roger in the midfield and putting Buonanotte as an inverted winger is not working out. Whatever the Manager does, we just have not got that bit of craft in the final third. Need the next goal then anything can happen. The opposition ain’t that good to be honest.

Yep, all these bit part teams in The PL with decent managers - Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth etc - they are all light years ahead of us.

 

This is not 1990s Utd, a well drilled team can match them. A League 1 team in the cup would be doing better in this match than we are. 
 

We are crap all over the pitch, Cooper’s only tactic is to hope someone does something amazing 3 times a match.

Farce in both goals just look like a flippin lemon standing there helpless. Can judge the flight of the ball and misses his headed clearance. If he does that right there is no goal simple. The build up to both goals there are too many players watching and not enough closing the space down.

as for out few chances why did N’didi choose to pass that into the goal when it was better to blast it in or go around banana? Great opportunity wasted after a nice 1st touch to bring the ball down.

meh you can paper over the cracks but we are not good enough simple as, those no excuse for that, we have some good players and its managers job to manage them and he aint doing it right

We haven't been great either. 1st goal completely switched off from a throw in, bang, goal. Ndidi might've done better with his chance.

This is what infuriates me more than anything, the absolute bias that exists when playing at old Trafford. So obvious yet no pundit or commentator ever comments on it
