My Personal favourite for the job would be Lee Carsley.

Plenty of options out there:

Carlos Corberan

Ruud Van Nistelrooy

Lee Carsley

Rodger Schmidt

David Moyes

Mauricio Sarri

Kjetil Knutsen

Edin Terzic

Niko Kovac

Sergio Conceicao

Urs Fischer

Is NP still looking for a job?

As long as we have some direction and ****ing tactics, anyone is better. I've never seen such directionless lack of identity performances, if anything it was getting worse. I genuinely have no idea what Cooper was trying to do. I kind of hoped he'd at least bring bite and fight but no, not even that.

I don't care if it's boring if it works and I can see what we are trying to do to get behind.

All those for Moyes, he loves a meathead striker and would play Ayew over Vardy.

He fielded the oldest starting 11 in the Premier League last season, while also having the second oldest squad in the league.

The type of guy who’d start Ayew and BDCR together.

If it keeps us up and has some kind of direction I'm not too bothered, especially if he wins us some European trophy.

Ruud is wanted by Hamburg too

So he has the choice of relegation battle with us or mid-table in the German second division

Personal connection for him, would be akin to getting Pompey back to the prem

In two minds about Potter. On one hand, he'd be a safe bet, but on the other, Brighton have kicked on massively since he left and their football is so much better to watch now. They couldn't score in a brothel when he was in charge. However, he did help to lay a lot of the foundations that they're benefitting from now, though. He's got a bit of the Nige about him, but not as funny or as likeable...or as psychotic.

Scored 5 in his last game for them against us.

If we really wanted him we'd get him. HSV are crap and have been for years.

Could have been 7 !

As I said in the other thread, they absolutely skull****ed us that day. They were frightening.

If we could survive the first season, he could build an interesting squad here.

Doesn't look any of the main contenders has the backing of the majority on here. I just hope that whoever we appoint, there's a realisation that it's unlikely to be an instant fix.

I don't get the clamour for RVN. A year at PSV and then a handle of matches as caretaker at United is not enough to go off.

He couldn't really lose at United, but he wore a turtle-neck well and all of sudden he's being linked with jobs left, right and centre.
