As opposed to Moyes with 4 wins in his final 19 games?

You can’t just go off that though, his experience is far better than any championship manager. Moyes has had some great results over the years and has what it takes to keep us up.

The club kept their cards very close to there chest that there wasn’t even a murmur that Cooper may or had lost his job yesterday until the official announcement, therefore I have no doubt the same closed shop is being applied to the managerial appointment therefore nobody really has anything concrete to share, most of the media reports are conjecture and anything confirmed to date will have come via intermediaries distancing their clients from the role as they clearly are not being seriously considered.

I truly believe the club has 2/3 cast iron targets that have been sounded out over the last couple of weeks and the final touches are being finalised and we will have news over the next couple of days and I think it may also include the announcement that our esteemed DoF will be leaving the club in the summer.

The stores in the media suggest Cooper wasn’t his choice and also it was  his decision to sack Cooper whilst he will also the lead the recruitment process, meaning he is effectively sidelining Rudkin and I think he has now lost faith in him. I may be wrong but just have an inkling some big changes are afoot.

I admire your optimism, but I don't share it.

Me neither. I'd rather he stuck to the radio

The Corberan fall in odds is not down to a credible source at all.

It's bluster, nonsense.

Or the other favourites being ruled out by credible sources

Sergio Conceição still hasn't got a new club. That might just be overly optimistic though.

Suspect it'll be Moyes or RVN. Moyes will probably keep us up with a simple direct game plan. At least the defence will be organised. RVN managed to get a tune out of Utd in his brief spell in charge, he'd be an interesting punt.

He got a tune playing us twice so not much of a bloody tune to be fair.

We typically say we need a manager with prem experience, but out of the current prem managers, about 13 of them had no prem experience when taking on their current position. That includes all the top six. Maybe it isn’t the most important thing?

We're also not likely to get a manager who was actually any good during that previous experience because if they were, they're likely either holding out for or already occupying a decent job. It's a bit like how unless you've got loads of money and pulling power, going shopping for Premier League proven players tends to be very expensive and provides very little value in return. Our preoccupation with experience seems to mean that rather than gamble on a relatively unknown quantity who might excel at this level but also might be crap, we'd sooner go for someone who has proven themselves to be the latter.

he's waiting for a top 4 club. if that doesnt happen then he wants another 2 years off

He 's a poor imitation of Enzo. He proved that at Chelsea. Look at the job Enzo has done here in such a short time and then repeated it at Chelsea.

He's an elite Coach who will take Chelsea back to the top.

We had the points deduction looming and no real budget when Potter looked last time. The England job has come and gone, Man Utd too, none of the big 6-8 roles are due to become available anytime soon so it’s here, West Ham or overseas.

Potter still getting paid by Chelsea 15 mil per season for another 18 months. He isn't giving that up for a job with us paying about a third.
