A voice so unique I can hear it now in my head. Spent many a game in the mid to late 90's with my ears to the radio listening to him commentate, brings back many good memories of those days.

Such sad news. His voice was so iconic during my childhood. I can still remember my favourite commentary of his around 1995 when we were 2-0 up away from home but as Kalac was in goal we ended up losing 3-2, either at Bolton or West Brom, Neville said ".... And Kalac has his head in his hands... I hope he doesn't drop it".

Oh no.. very sad news.

I remember his voice quite clearly as in my early City supporting years, his radio show was the only way to feel involved for away games especially.

Sad news, a great commentator, never got tired of hearing him. I remember one night we beat Cambridge 3-1 at their place (not the play off season when we played them) and he was so excited when Joachim scored he almost forgot he was on air. 
 

I cant remember who was commentator before him, all I remember is Bleddyn Jones with the Tigers and those magical words…’we are now heading over to Filbert Street’

The family of Neville Foulger have asked me to share the sad news of his death, aged 85. Nev was a respected journalist and broadcaster for over half a century – working in Nottingham, Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester – and to many he was the voice of #lcfc.

Nev’s final game on the Coventry Telegraph was their FA Cup win in 1987 before he moved to Leicester to run a press agency and went on to report and commentate on football and cricket at BBC Radio Leicester for many years.

Nev employed me on his agency when I was 16 and we worked together again at Radio Leicester in the mid 1990s and then reunited on Leicester City’s coverage of that miracle title win. As a boss he was hard but fair. He was a father figure. I owe him lots. Today is a sad day x
