I have literally no opinion on this, aside from it feels underwhelming and once again Rudking/Top going for the easiest option. A well known name in football that has applied for the job.

All i can see is that since he left PSV they have improved.

Anyone have any deeper insight into him as a coach/manager?

Who else would you suggest?

A gamble, yes, but somehow we aren't starting from a totally dire position despite the general awful performances.

One thing he badly needs to improve is how we start matches. Being so passive and usually going behind early is heavily impacting us.

Much happier to have a less experienced manager on his way up than a more experienced manager thats on his way down.

Yes it's a gamble but every appointment is a gamble. Ultimately, if he can galvanised the players we will be in a much better place than we were a week ago

Interesting that we just had an inexperienced manager on his way down

This feels right. Really hope that fans will actually get behind the team more in home matches now that we have a manager we believe in. Really need a more intimidating atmosphere at home, given the quality deficit we face on the pitch.

I hope he can get more out of our attacking players. Sadly no Fatawu to develop just yet.

Maybe Daka's finishing can improve.

I hope Mavididi, Buonanotte and El Khannous can flourish too.

Somehow have to get out defence sorted though...

I would think he would play 4-3-3? That’s his favoured formation.

He must be confident of getting a tune out of us, he got to see us up close and useless twice at old Trafford.

got a good feeling about this one, a much much better feeling that the summers shambles of an appointment

It’s great timing, he’s got a month to assess the squad before January and as already mentioned - we’re not in a terrible spot.

If this can galvanise us to take a minimum of 4 points from next 6 we’ll be in a healthy position.

a lot of elite management is down to having bollocks - this lad has watermelons down there.
