If we win a couple of games between now and the end of the season. I seriously think the decision makers at the club will consider letting him stay on if he wants to. That's how daft they are.

Why we are a shambles in a nutshell. They look at these guys in so much awe, was the same with Rodgers. They’re almost apologetic to have to let them go.

To be fair when we got to the point where relegation was undoubtedly going to happen, from a purely financial point of view if it saves a decent amount they might as well wait. We don't have a DOF who is proactive enough, or even has any ****ing authority any more.

If we had a director of football with a clear vision and philosophy put a coach in charge for the remaining games to coach something that aligned with the manager they have lined up, chuck in some youth players who will feature next season and give us all some hope.

I think we know which one they went for. Because we have a complete fraud employed by a man baby with absolutely no ****ing vision whatsoever.

According to Guy Branston we have the best DoF in the business.

Makes you realise how lucky we are that no other club has taken a look at him 😂😭

Not even giving the podcast this time of day this week after reading the shite he had to say.

Guy Ritchie would have a better grasp of what's going on.

This just confirms my suspicions that no-one at the club has the foggiest on how to run it.

I will no doubt get stick for this but right now I won't be going back until the board has been cleansed. I can't back the decisions they've made for the past few years, with these idiots in charge we'll only be destined to go back down.

Totally agree. But I'm a level down from you. I've put myself on a self imposed boycott whilst Coady, BdcR and the Dutchman are there. Even if it takes years.

But The real problem you have identified; the omnishambles trio Whelan, top and Rudkin. Not a brain cell between them. But, I've stopped my boycott short of them,. mainly as they have proved the monkeys and shakespeare theory and can accidentally hit a rich seam

How crazy would it have been, if we had of survived with cooper in charge

All evidence suggest we wouldn’t have survived unless we could have matched wolves or palaces runs. No chance was that possible.

Although Cooper would've done a better job then Ruud, the team finishing in 17th this season will get over 40pts. No chance we were staying up.

This is the scenario, Man City are found guilty at the end of the season and are punished by being demoted to the championship so if we finish above Ipswich we’re safe, don’t worry chaps

I thought this, the team in 17th has 35 points at this point, can’t remember the last time that was needed? The bottom 3 have been awful but everyone else has put at least one good run of results together meaning they weren’t ever really in trouble.

The Man City verdict is now not expected until the summer at the earliest, and possibly not until some time next season.

...somewhere in a parallel universe there's a foxestalk where everyone's worshipping Cooper for keeping Leicester out of the bottom 3 all season...

Sorry if this has been mentioned but has anyone actually seen the reason why Kasey has come from obscurity into the first 11 for the first time in months? Just caught a clip on WYS about him saying he's worked hard to get back into the team...but he hasn't been near a squad so that makes zero sense to me.

RVN said he is starting to focus on next season, so presumably he expects Kasey to be with us then.

I think we have more points under Cooper. Hard to assess how much of a springboard we gavevWilves with that loss at the KP. Think we would probably go down still though, unless we properly strengthened in Jan.

Pretty sure he played the first 2 games when we got points, then got injured.

Was poor at Newcastle I think. But yep then injured.

thing is with kasey he is limited but he’s fast and works hard which is something a lot of them don’t have/do.

Well we didn't strengthen in Summer when he had the chance to, so I can't imagine it would have happened in Jan.

As mentioned on some of the other posts, regardless of how we have performed the reality is that promoted clubs have a mountain to climb to compete.

West Ham are now 17th. Wan-Bissaka, Kilman, Pacqueta, Kudus and Bowen would get into a number of the top half sides. The rest of their team is made up of solid pros and any of their bench/reserve players would get in our team.

The gap is huge and until the Premier League do something to level the playing field (financially) this is how it’s going to go from now on.
