Cooper did well with these championship players.

He will go on to be a good manager with a club and fan base that appreciate his strengths and don't want to knife him.

RVN so far is a trier he is using our predicament as a no lose learning process

and hopefully for him a stepping stone to better thungs

Cooper stood a chance, he had the summer. RvN doesn't has hes got players not good enough to play his system and no money to change it.

Anyone who thinks cooper was better need to watch the games again. We were awful tactically, awful setup and the players were frustrated with him.

Yet the players are still not performing, we can't even put a draw together.

If we’re better offensively, why the f**k can’t we score in the PL?

Some of the build up play looks better, but we aren't created real quality chances, we have scored some great goals this season but they are usually individual quality. Why we can't score the first goal troubles me, after the triple change we looked good for 10 minutes why can't we ever start like that, give the crowd something to get behind.

We would have had a better chance of staying up under Cooper, awful to watch , but much more effective than this rubbish, the team seems to have no idea what to do even from a throw in

Yeah, Cooper wouldn’t say “I want Oliver Skipp” he’d have asked for a ball playing midfielder

I’d love to agree with you, but Skipp was pretty much the only one left from his U17 days that he hadn’t signed at either Swansea or Forest lol

RVN picked the best team he could... he has few options. Yet we have so many players on our books who are useless to us.  How has our esteemed director of football allowed this to happen?

This mess isn’t on Ruud

It's not you're right but he's not the right type of manager for us....he'd probably do well with a team that are used to winning every week but a relegation battle when you're scrapping for every point....nah

Tbh I’ve come round to where I feel a bit sorry for him, we’re basically asking an office first aider to perform brain surgery.

In the right situation, right players he’d be fine, probably, but this isn’t that situation…we’re ****ed.

Oh wow a real funny guy here. Honestly don’t know who you think you are but this is a Leicester city fan forum foxestalk. If you want to come on here as a Newcastle fan then just be respectful and kind, otherwise you can go back to geordietalk

Today we played the same tactic over and over in the first half. Constantly passing to the wing and trying to get into the box from the side. At some point you have to change it up and try to just run down the middle instead of being so bloody predictable.

I think a lot of us know how shit the squad is. Sadly the board are even worse.

That's what I mean. Until the happy clappers that make up 90% of the attending public get their thick heads around the idea that Top and Rudkin are a disease then nothing changes.

Even then, we don’t have the power. But I agree with you. I was looking around tonight and I swear large percentages of our fanbase are genuinely retarded.

Is there such a thing?

We’ve consistently bought players with a scattergun approach and when you buy badly over a prolonged period of time it catches up with you as a club.

Tete

Ghezzal

Souttar

Faes

Bertand

Praet

Soumare

BDCR

Ayew

Edouard

Skipp

Can’t be arsed to carry on but recruitment is everything in football and unfortunately for the past 5 years our incomings have on the whole been shocking.

Now list all the quality we sold so I can cry myself to sleep. Christ… to think people moaned about the 21/22 squad. 🙈

I hear what your saying and agree, however I can't believe Top sits there thinking everything is fine and rosy, he must know, he is closer to it, it's his money being wasted, he watches the matches and the goals we are leaking, etc it's on him to act!

I think he's either really thick, or is just so disinterested and too rich to care. He's basically a Thai Donald Trump. Done nothing successful, just got a massive silver spoon.

The is no excuse for losing 6 league games scoring 2 and conceding 16.

There is no excuse for losing 3 home games on the spin not scoring a single goal, two of which were against relegation rivals.

Last 6 we’ve conceded 16 and scored 2. Sorry but that wasn’t happening under Cooper. Not saying he’s the answer either but after a short lived boost it’s a sad reality that Ruud has made us worse.
