Let's not start this again, like Cambiasso telling Nige how to play etc

OK, maybe not 'told' him too but I'd expect that the subject of squad options probably came up in the discussion they had. Not saying it's a bad thing.

Soo I've heard a whisper of the team tonight...

Mads

Hamza

Okoli

Vestergaard

Justin

Skipp

Soumare

Buonanotte

Ayew

Bilal

Vardy

Personally I'd start Mavi and potentially bring Ayew on but if that's the team I'm impressed - About as good as what we currently have available

Some huge games this midweek. No win, bottom 3 for sure.

Well a draw will keep us out of it if the earlier kick off results in a draw.

Hoping that's not true. Stephy surely needs to be starting, especially with Abdul out.

We very rarely go ahead, we inexplicably did at the weekend but we got the monkey off our back. RVN has barely gotten the chance to get his methods across yet so we'll set up simply I think but it should suit us.

Their last 4 away

Won 2-0 at Newcastle

Lost 3-0 at Forest

Lost 4-1 at Spurs

Drew 1-1 at Brentford

Nothing to fear, set up with the intention win, no silly pressing schemes or elaborate build up and we're in a with a decent chance.

They are in a dip and are pretty abysmal too.

Evening game under the lights.

New Manager bounce under normal circumstances  but with this current breed of lacklustre forgettable players we will succumb and be our normal charity fc and make West Ham look like prime Barcelona!

1-3

Until RVN gets his own backroom staff, and has a bit more time, I don't expect a whole lot to change.

Shit defending and a 1-3 defeat.

It’s going to take time

Where do you get that from ....... I don't think we've had 2 shots on target in the 1st 20 mins all season

I do hope you're right but it'll be a long 80 minutes left

We've hardly managed a shot on target in the first 20 minutes of any game. However, I can't remember a season when so many of our first shots on target resulted in a goal.

Coaches surely reflect and act on what the manager/head coach dictates?

If RVN tells them the style he wants to use and implement they'll be expected to follow or be out?

Made the mistake of listening to TalkSh1te for 5 minutes in the car earlier. They had Neil Lennon on giving his "expert view" on Leicester,  which was that we only have 2 PL level players in the squad, Vardy and Winks. He also said that RVN might want to have a look at the "goalkeeping situation". Dear, oh dear, the state of punditry these days.....

Actually looking forward to this game for the first time in a while. Whilst we need to win, I'm more bothered about us putting up more of a fight and actually trying to attack rather than the utter garbage we've seen so far this season. I know RVN won't be able to change much so soon, but just seeing any sort of positive performance would be nice and give us something to build on.
