get in !! great 1st win for Ruud and the team, thats shut all the whingers up at the start of the game

shame it wasnt a clean sheet, soft goal to concede but 3-1 is great! lets get on with it and get even better!

Miles better football than that boring championship manager cooper has ever done, just goes to show, cooper is NOT a PL manager and never will be

Let’s not be too picky. For a first game with our new manager it’s nite and day the difference. Yes lots to work on and I’m sure Ruud will bollock the players after first praising them because the last 10 or 15 min  was weird. Instead of taking the ball to the opposition corner or go for another goal they were all farting around with it in midfield before losing it. This kind of crap has to stop. Game is not won until the whistle blows. Have to be ruthless when on top. Anyway on to the next game

Ha ha, 30 shots, most West Ham have ever had in a Premier League game.

One of the most ridiculous games I’ve seen, but be all and end all is take the points and build on it.

Fair play especially to those who came in and made a difference:

Could have been 6 - 8

But take that and the 3 points. Still very frightening to watch at the back. Thankfully, Mads was excellent.

Bouba and Wilf grew into it and scrapped. Bilal was superb and chuffed for Patson. Great finish.

Hopefully we can tighten up. No Faes! Onwards and upwards with luck.

Some great individual performances out there, even though we're still incredibly easy to cut through. Massively rode our luck and I'd be tearing my hair out if I were a WH fan. Still, great mentality to score 3 and take the points.

The last ditch defending was top notch.

I think how easily the midfield were over ran tonight showed how exposed the defence has been all season.

Great to see Daka not only score but really put himself about with intention and seemingly a plan.

Created some decent chances. 50/50 on kacey. Did well for the second goal, but I'm general seemed clueless.

3 points though all that matters . No facundo available for Saturday so hopefully he uses mavididi instead but hopefully more points at home

Good to get a win. Good for the manager to have lots of talking points.

Harem Scarem, but thought second half we improved a fair bit and were slightly better organised.

Pleased to see Ruud use all the subs at the right times, and for Daka to have such a great impact, not just his goal but his work rate was outstanding. Mavididi and Faes on the other hand.

Still a lot of work to do to try and improve off the ball to limit the chances the opposition create against us as it's still far too high, but at least we attempted to maintain a constant threat in attack, unlike under the previous manager.

Did we. Some pay to much attention to stats and only two count. Goals scored and goals conceded. 15/16 told us how shit the rest are. It's what you do with the ball when you have it that counts.

I'm well happy with what Ruuds done after 2 days.

Just heard that West Ham had 31 shots - the most they've EVER had in a Premier League game. You can't face that many shots and expect to get anything from the majority of games.

I also think the free kick Mads got at 1-0 was very fortunate - we scored the second just after. On another day it goes to 1-1 and then you never know how the game pans out.

But hey, not to be too negative, it was a solid performance, we scored some good goals, and like you say after just 2 days I'm very pleased. Lots to improve on though.

rode our luck massively but given 2 days with the team all he could do was introduce was desire and we had more of that than in any of Cooper's games. there's the hints of a tactical plan there as well, just needs time to implement it given he's not had a preseason
