I guess he’d have to come in with a new LB and RB as the full backs would be getting zero help defending, wouldn’t be against trying it if he was still here like but zero chance we offer around what we got for him (rightly so as much as I like him he’s not worth it) or get him in on loan

KDH has been used as a pawn for PSR. (And we still may have fluffed, who knows) I know he would have got a sack full of money, but you've got to feel for him. Made a big move in the summer and now not wanted.

Not that our opinion matters a jot as the club will spunk money up the wall at every given opportunity but calls for him to come in to play LW/RW is baffling  haven’t we realised after years of watching our club try to slot square pegs in round holes it simply doesn’t work!
 

Loved KDH whilst he was here but there’s no chance we bring him home he’d simply cost far too much for a position we’re well stocked

I know and don't disagree with the 'square pegs, round holes' objections but having said that, I would have KDH in a DM role over Soumare any day of the fookin year.

 

Soumare is a bit better than he has been, but the bar was set very fookin low.

If we send Edouard back and got in KDH and then some shrewd signings at back and we would be completive. I think KDH would come here on loan. As for who at the back Trippier and an experienced head in central defence. Lindelof would be an upgrade if he would come.

I'd bring him on in his old position with Mav still on the Wing and move Bilal to the 8 role.

I actually think both Bilal and Facundo have had their best games for us so far when starting wide

I don’t think it will happen anyway, I would be happy if it did though - as long as it wasn’t at the expense of us getting someone for the more urgent positions

This works if you played them as inverted wingers, problem being is it works if you have attacking fullbacks

I've said this before we need a long term captain and KDH would be perfect for this position.  Captain doesn't have to be the best player or elite in a position but be generally good. KDH has shown enthusiasm and drive to push players forward for goals.

Remember last season verses the baggies when kelechi headed it to KDH who drove forward for winks to score the winner in injury time.
