There’s never a good time to get battered. But maybe three weeks before the transfer window opens isn’t the worst?

For the unfortunate fish that time is tonight. Me hungry.

We were trash today, however, ref does his job properly rather than being a total fanny, and it may have been a different game. Bruno should have been gone before HT.

Maybe the last two match results papered over the cracks. We should have lost versus Brighton but didn’t and we’re still conceding mid twenty chances per game. No side will keep a clean sheet or win too many doing that.

I think we’re just a poor squad and poor side regardless of manager, Ruud or Coops. We’ve slipped back to the level of performance against Man U and Brentford recently and I’m wondering if that’s the norm. It’s a toothless and a defeated attitude that is pailful to endure

You’re right that’s all we can hope for and that’s what still absolutely boils my blood. This ****ing board did this.

Tbf though without the board we would never have won anything more than the league cup. Leicester City are a mediocre Championship to Premier yo yo club. It's a shame they didn't seize the massive opportunity but I think too much faith was placed in Rodgers. Noone else is buying this club and making us any better, that's something we have to accept. We could have ended up with Tan or some other clown, at least we have had good times when we go down and stick in the Championshipfor a bit.

Three completely different players.

We needed a defensive midfielder on the bench.

Why? He was never going to be used in any situation, we even preferred to play Coady there who hasn't been a midfielder for well over a decade

Why do you think we needed a 7th winger more than a 3rd midfielder?

You'll see better defences by non-league clubs at PL grounds in January.

We are a joke currently. We'll easily set the record for most shots conceded in a PL season at this rate. From back to front, excluding Mads and Vardy, we have a lower Championship squad. Justin's head has gone, Kristensen just isn't up to it. We have a 5Live pundit as a central defender, midfielders that can't pass, and wingers we can't get the ball to.

We can't press, we can't sit back and keep things tight. It's a mess front to back. The only reason we aren't rock bottom is Mads, and if I ever see Danny F8king Ward in a Leicester goal again I swear I will quit supporting this team. Even with our first choice midfielders it wouldn't have made a difference. Ndidi isn't the player he was and Soumare is hot garbage.

We need a total overhaul of the squad because there isn't a single outfield position we have PL level players for.

Vardy is 38 this month.

It was a joke today, we had Mads taking freekicks and Vestergaard as our playmaker because neither midfielder could be trusted with the ball.

The Ruud bounce is over.

Not too bothered about that, as we only had a small chance of getting anything out of it.
Having our fourth and fifth choice centre mid pairing didn’t help.
Next Saturday is a big one.

Bad day but realistically Ward is third choice, Choudhury is 5th and dropping, Skipp is 3/4, we have two full backs who can actually start in the squad, Jan around the corner off the back of two good results. Just glad we are past another grim fixture, can absolutely hammer wolves if O’Neill is still about

So you genuinely believe that we sign any of Reid, Ayew or Skipp if Enzo stayed?

Absolutely 99% certain on this. We signed Ward for 10 Million as backup to Kasper and there was a clause to say we owe him a bonus every time hes not on named on the bench. Hence multiple times naming 2 keepers on bench. Club cant afford not to name him.

Newcastle had 20 shots on goal, 11 on target and an xG of 3.95. I know this is unpopular, but this result/performance is not on Ward. The midfield was non existent and the defence was left exposed time and time again.

The 4th is on Ward. For a professional keeper to have that stance when you have a player baring down on you is criminal. He was standing like he was waiting for a bus!

But I agree with your point. The midfield was more of the problem. With Ndidi and Soumare, it may have been better. But not great. The team wasn't connected and that was the weakness today. I lost count the mount of times he was ball watching
