Wolves will probably appeal it anyway, so that will then delay the ban from being implemented. That’s IF, he even gets banned tomorrow or on Friday. He’ll play against us.

If Wolves appeal and the FA decide the appeal is a frivolous one (which it might given the very clear evidence against Cunha), could that not result in a harsher punishment? Might it not be better for him to admit he was in the wrong, apologise and plead for leniency?

Not heard of any frivolous bans for a while. A bit like the ten mins extra time every game, it seems to have been quietly dropped.

So Stolarczyk played last night?

If Hermansen is out its a no brainer that a half match fit keeper is better than Ward right?

p.s half match fit for keeper just assumes not as sharp in between the sticks but Ward is like having a prize winner from the audience on goal.

On what grounds could that be appealed on? Mistaken identity, self defence, mental illness, time of the month (men can probably have periods in the modern world), tired and emotional, glasses worth less than £200 so is allowed to steal them?

I don't see how they could appeal the charge, but I suppose they might appeal the punishment if they think it's too harsh. Would any ban be suspended while the appeals process is taking place? I have no idea, personally...

I have no confidence with away games. Hate them. Still something about a home game that gives me hope. Its the home games that we can shithouse, stay up on.

Getting to Jan with 4/5 wins on the board (5 being very unlikely given the oposition) gives us hope. 3 wins only leaves us it a precaurious position. Its a massive game.

He has to play. There’s a reason Enzo had him over Ward last season and we saw in the cup games, that he’s an exceptional shot stopper, which is probably what we’ll need.

I’m much more nervous about this game than the Liverpool and Man City matches coming up afterwards. It just feels like there is so much at stake here.

Genuine question - how many leagues games have we won, with Ward starting?

Edit: 8 I think - which is much higher than I thought it'd be...7 out of 9 wins in the relegation season.

At one point he has the most clean sheet in the division when we went on that winning run before the World Cup.

I feel like this season is our worst midfield as far back as I can remember in the top division, almost every match we just get walked through.  Whilst even in previous seasons when we got promoted with no money, our midfield would at least have grit.

Comfortably so. They're all just nothingy players. Poor positionally, not very good on the ball and not very physical

I think it had crept in the season we got to the conference league semi final.

We'll surely lose to Liverpool, Man City and Villa.

We HAVE to win this.

Man City is 3 points. Piece of piss. Relegation form for them...
