Don't think I've ever been happier leaving the ground after a loss. Play like that and you beat alot of teams in this league.

Need to play like that vs the rubbish.

Yes after the Liverpool and Man. City performances, the Wolves performance just pains me more.

so ****ing weird that they still sing about Ranieri nearly 8 years later. just force their ownership to sell and send them to the conference already

End have their Etihad complex destroyed so they can't use it to bounce back.

Didn’t deserve to lose that. The most disappointing thing I’m taking from that game is, where was that performance against Wolves?

Think for large periods of the game we dominated them, and the stats suggest that too. We’ve missed some great chances and some of the football we played was really good.

For their first, I think it’s really poor goalkeeping. You can half accept the second because we were really pushing on, gaps are going to appear.

El Khannous was class all game. Caused them problems, worked hard, great close control and did well getting out of tight spaces. Winks and Soumare are certainly our first choice midfield pairing. Although we do miss N’Didi in there.

Plenty of positives to take, but ultimately it’s another defeat. Big January coming up, and if the board are serious about us staying in the league, a few signings are needed for sure.

We’ve got the makings of a team that’s capable of staying up, I’m sure of that.

100% agree. The worst bit about today’s game was that Wolves game……. Just boils me piss thinking about it.

Anyone know If it was actually a penalty?

Looked it from where I was sat

On Facundo? Unfortunately not, although Neville's suggestion he should have been booked was also laughable, he just lost his footing.

Or we were actually good playing out and beating their press as we did multiple times? Their press is good but we done well.

We played well today and deserved something from the game. Play like that back end of the season with a few additions and we stay up.

I agree but don't make me fetch the Maddison tweet.

How's Justin given Savinho so much space? Literally completely left him.

Another one to the many Justin has cost us.

He's going to be Ward levels of responsible for our incoming relegation.

Thought it was very apparent how isolated the guy is today. Mavididi and Kristiensen in tandem on the left, JJ completely on his own on the right.

It was a dive

but not as bad a dive as De Bruyne's in the first half

Effort-wise, best we've been in a long while. Granted against a poor Man City side, but hopefully we can take confidence from that and build on it in the games against other bottom-half sides.

BEK was excellent. Soumare too - nice to have a player who can out-strength pretty much anyone rather than just bounce off all the time.

Still lots of room for improvement, some which the current crop are capable of, but more importantly where a few additions are needed. January is a huge month for us and who we can get in will likely make/break our season. A new RB for definite, JJ just isn't cutting it, but there's plenty other positions where we could/should upgrade.

The foundations were there, remains to be seen if we can build on them. Cautiously optimistic...

Puts his hand on Facu but it’s cheating Man City so what’d you expect?

I wasn’t there today so take this criticism with a pinch of salt, but it hurts even the more listening to a packed away end taking the absolute piss - Ranieri, we’re ****ing shit etc, but not laying a single glove back.

There are 115 charges outstanding and 10 games without a win and lcfc fans are more interested in sitting on hands and ‘just being there’

Buonanotte produced the most duels(15) and tackles(5) of any player on the pitch today.

El Khannouss not far behind him with 13 duels and 3 tackles.

They must start together every week.

Actually think taking JJ killed the game for us today. RVN must improve his subs.

Why does he keep taking a centre half off with 5 mins to go?

Not sure I agree re Justin, I thought Hamza put in 2/3 crosses which might have led to a goal or two on another day and I’m yet to see JJ do it this season.

Got to agree played  out from the back very well and think we only got caught once or twice

Still think Okoli should be playing instead of Coady.

We played well but you could tell we'd leave no stone unturned in ensuring we lost today an'all.

An air of inevitability about this. The Wolves game was simply unforgivable in a challenge that was going to be very difficult anyway. I will never ever accept the selection of Danny Ward for that and the points swing.

El Khannouss was magnificent, he's like those beautiful flowers that somehow grow in horrific environments and substances.

Winks has looked very rusty since his return, some of his sloppy play when we had them pinned in the 2nd half enabled the pressure to ease and they then nicked the 2nd goal and was game over.

So frustrating. We've a huge few weeks ahead of us in deciding whether to gamble on throwing everything at survival. If we don't then I want to see Alves, Evans, Monga, Nelson when back fit, Joseph etc blooded properly.

I can't work out if I'm annoyed we didn't punish them or if I'm proud of the performance.

Man City fans still singing about Rainieri nearly 10 years on is the weirdest chant in football.

Got to take the positives into the Villa game, but unfortunately Justin will still start and hold us back.

this was our best match this season. Unfortunately we couldn't score the goals that were handed over to us on a golden platter. Highest rated: El Khannouss 9/10, Soumare 8/10. Lowest: Justin 4/10, Kristiansen 4/10, Vardy 5/10. Stolarczyk made one less than good save and it cost us. Then again, Justin should've been there to help him out.

Desperately need defenders; everything else seems to click for RVN.

I’d love to see Okoli and Hamza start next game. RVN needs to show some balls to the other players. Justin and Coady are far too comfortable with starting every game.

If we play like that for the rest of the season, we 'might' just get out of the mess we're in.

Midfield looked good today, if luck had been on our side we could have got one or two ourselves.

Defence still looks dodgy tbf.

He puts on one of the faster CB's when we have to go for it. We went 352 at the end, so wanted some pace to give us some chance if Man City counter attacked us.
