If Monga is really off and it has all been agreed, why is the club going out of its way to promote him on social media ahead of the Saturday's game? Why would it go out of its way to big up a player who it knows will be off soon?

They’ve done it with a number of goals, it’s simply for the GOTM.

How many tickets are left for  Saturday  ???.

Given that most of our fanbase won't have heard of him, I'm not sure how many tickets will be shifted by rumours of his involvement.

you’d be surprised how many of the youngsters know who he is.  and we know that fans in general love an academy prospect,  if people think that alves will play and monga might have a cameo then I’m sure a few will decide to come and watch.

So were Villa last season. Look at them now.

So were Newcastle the previous season. Look at them after that.

So were we for two seasons in a row, winning the cup and reaching the semis in Europe. Look at our last 3 seasons.

The rules are explicitly designed to punish ambition by a league that directly controls profitability.

Whatever happens to Forest this season, they won’t be allowed to progress any further. Villa weren’t. Newcastle, owned by a nation state, weren’t. We certainly weren’t.

I agree the rules are bollocks for the most part but I wouldn't say we weren't allowed to be ambitious.

We spent c. £450m in the years between winning the league and relegation - it's not the league's fault the money got spent the way it did.

We only have ourselves (Rudkin) to blame for the mess we're in.

Nyoni.

This hasn't been settled yet I don't think. Certainly not publicised anywhere if it's been settled.

I'm sure it will exceed the Elliott or Mheuka fees.

Man City paid us £1m for Nouboussie.

It the rumours are true that Liverpool have been tapping up then we ought be getting more than £5m for him.

And even so, it will be a nominal fee.

Every Million counts at this point 🤣

i remember reading it at the time and because he has played in the FA Cup and league cup in 2024 and contributed to a win in league cup that they later went on to Win the Cup it benefits leicester in the tribunal and can make the fee alot more

The expense of the ladies team is deducted from the PSR losses.

May be the case but it still comes under the umbrella of total running cost of the club, having its own training ground etc, etc.

It's all deductible for PSR calculation.

Our supposed excuses are utterly pathetic.

Nobody is falling for this shit.

What excuses has the club released a statement?

Bigger clubs with bigger revenues have always existed, they may have changed overtime but have always existed since they went professional.

Allowing clubs to spend what they want wont help us in the longer as we still wouldn't be able to compete with most of the rich 6 and others.

That’s true, but we wouldn’t be punished constantly for it.

It feels like there should be some sort of amnesty for clubs to get their house in order, rather than destroying them with punishments which seem to just compound.

Chelsea can spend billions and sell their own property to themselves and that’s fine but we can’t be a few million over yet the owners have the funds to back it all up.

I'd pitch it somewhere between £5-10m, the fact he's made 1st team appearances for the club within a year of joining, that we're unhappy with the way Liverpool acted and them having previous for it, it won't look to favourable for them I'd imagine.

True, I wasn't advocating PSR as something good I'd rather see some sort of wage and transfer control.

I thought it couldn´t get much worse at this club when we were relegated 22/23. But the shit does never seem to end. Mismanagement, financial chaos, a toxic "connection" with the fans, no consequences for the debacle in 22/23. Its just f..... unbelievable. Its just so depressing and needless what is going on and beyond belief. Whenever we think we have turned a corner (not on the pitch though - where we haven´t) - more shit turns up.

So earlier this season when we were cleared of PSR issues, why are we being charged again.

Its based on a three-season period, and each year one year drops off and the next is added, so each year there is an assessment.  They have changed the rules this season so they have to tell you within the season if you failed for the three years to the season before, so this season we can be charged twice.

I just want my club back. Normal struggles without the psr issues. A board which knows what it’s doing, planning for the future and develop the club for the future. Is that too much for ask for☹️

This!! What happen to football ? Football has become woke 😞

We've undoubtedly ****ed up but how many windows are we now sacrificing because of getting a handful of signings wrong? Man United are able to get 10 wrong a year and still keep ploughing away. I know their revenue allows it but everything about PSR is just to allow them all to stay where they are.

Neville and the like were loud as anything about the Super League but no one has bothered to speak out about everything that's being done to appease all the top clubs in Europe since.

I keep coming back to it’s a restriction of trade. Lots of businesses pump money into themselves for growth reasons and run at a loss.

This effectively stops you doing this.

I wonder how long the rules would stay like they are if Man United and Chelsea got points deductions.

Also, in the accounts it mentions something about possible undrawn share capital releases for 76,000,000 shares.

That effectively add £76m to the club, so we could buy ourselves out of a hole?
