How would you feel if Forest won the league and could it happen?

This could actually happen. Many have already written them off but people wrote us off too. I'd hate it tbh. I don't want anyone else to eclipse our underdog story. Especially them.

They are very similar (apart from money spent) to how we were when we won the league in terms of purchasing some cast off from other clubs,  (elanga, Hudson odoi, wood, Williams, Anderson). Recruitment is the be all end all nowadays and they've bought well.

 

They have a centre back pairing that are rock solid and have a manager set up to defend well and hit on counter and be smart in games.

 

I don't think they'll win the league but can see Them pushing for Champs League but ultimately end up in Europa.

In what world would it eclipse our story? MGW cost more than our whole squad in 15/16.

I'm pretty sure Leicester where second near Christmas under O'Niel when we had Tony Cottee, the second half of the season didn't pan out quite the same

It'll be an interesting little case study for the usefulness of xG. They'd be in 8th place if the league was ordered in xG so it'll be interesting to see if they deviate to the mean and slowly fall away.

The reason we won the league is that we had a team EXACTLY like 8 of  forest's. Good,.fit, committed, strong, organised PL players. 

 

Only slight difference is the.remaining three positions need to be  the best players in the world at their respective roles; only then would they  have a league winning outfit.

Would rather they didn't win it. I live down south so most here support the London clubs. Having said that I would certainly prefer anyone outside the East Midlands win it.  If we need to choose outside the usual suspects give me Newcastle rather than Forest.

It won’t happen, but it wouldn’t bother me. I’d rather someone upset the greedy six.

 

Besides, it wouldn’t eclipse ours. They’ve spent like £300m in the last few seasons. 
 

Ours cost £22m.

It’s hard to judge that sort of thing though as they have improved in the last month or so drastically. (They were obviously already doing well) but they definitely look more of the real deal now than some of the scrappy wins early on.

If they beat Liverpool next week they're in the title race. They've already won at Anfield. Think they will finish 5th, which should be good enough for champions league next season.

I don’t think we was ever written off as such. Just people didn't think we had the whole season in us. Was we ever 6pts and a game in hand behind?

 

They've had a good run but I don't see them keeping it up or Liverpool throwing it away.

They spent £35m alone on Elliot Anderson….not comparable in the slightest.
