Wouldn't begrudge them although I think it's Liverpools turn again.

Southampton could win it for all I care. We had our time in the sun and now we are a shitty woeful joke on and off the pitch.

I mean, yeah.

But also, not all of them are actual drug traffickers who bomb the properties of referees who displease them.

Wouldn’t really bother me, and if they do then fair play. What would bother me would be the comparisons of whose was the greater under dog story.

They’re a decent side and they’re having a great season. Let’s see if they can keep it up.

I mean there's something of a difference between being a beneficiary of crony capitalism and establishing a dodgy monopoly to make money, and being involved in drug trafficking. One is grossly unethical, the other is something everyone would agree is a crime.

It wouldn’t bother me if I’m honest. They are playing well and have some great players so deserve to be where they are.

I think Liverpool will win the league but think they will finish in the CL positions

Totally open door you’re pushing at. But they’ve all got their hands dirty in some form of dodginess.

There's a difference between writing us off in 2016 and writing Forest off this season, and that is a big 6 team in form.

They all fell off a bit in 2016; at this stage Arsenal lead on 42. Liverpool's game in hand is likely to put them on 49.

So they need Liverpool to lose at least 3 more games, when they've lost 1 so far. Plus keep up the rate they're at. Just don't see it.

They're having a great season though and looks like they'll take advantage of others dropping off to get Europa/CL.

I hate them and want nothing but pain and misery for them, and hearing their fans talking all optimistic and happy makes me want to throw up.

On the plus side, a drop off that sees them finish outside of the top four or European places, preferably on the final day, would be unspeakably hilarious.

Honestly, people wishing them well because they're breaking the cartel are confusing me. It's like trying to rehabilitate Fred West because he laid a great patio.

They've spent eye watering money and broke the rules, it's hardly a fairy story.

Would be impressive management from Nuno if he gets them top four.

They can't win the league. That's not even about condescending them, either, Liverpool are just too good for everyone.

This could actually happen. Many have already written them off but people wrote us off too. I'd hate it tbh. I don't want anyone else to eclipse our underdog story. Especially them.

They won’t ever Win the EPL the wheels will fall off sooner or later !

I don't think I'm overstating it when I say that it would be a perversion, an affront to nature and an abomination in the eyes of the lord.

It is also not going to happened so I'm not that bothered.  I'm more bothered that this thread exists at all and will be giving Forest fans a good laugh at our expense.

I feel like Leicester deal in such extremes that if we're to go down, such a shocker like this is going to be thrown in just to make it as excruciating as possible.

I can't see it in all seriousness, I don't think they can keep this form up. It's probably the run that most resembles ours even if it's not quite on the level. I had them to go down in preseason and it wasn't unfounded. It's mental that they've gone from under a point a game over two years to this.

It's a shame it's them. I do quite like Nuno and I do quite like the way they play as well - very simple. An era where complicating everything seems to be king and they've come in with defenders who can defend, aggressive midfielders, quick wingers and a striker who scores goals. Just very simple stuff and I think there's a lot to be said for it. But I do expect them to dip.

1. It won’t happen.

2. If it did it’s not as big an achievement as when we won it. They’ve spent hundreds of millions and are into their third straight PL season.
3. IF it did happen I’d just be annoyed that it gives people the chance to compare. I’ll still be sure in my own mind that we achieved bigger things.

Our league win will never be eclipsed. The PL will fall apart and it'll start again as league division one before anything like 2016 happens again.

Never happen. But the question of how LCFC fans would feel if it did is nevertheless an interesting one.

For me, the big six cabal is so utterly corrupt and reprehensible that any personal animus I have for a derby enemy is trumped by the glee I would feel at seeing the cabal's helpless rage at having their private club violated for the second time in a decade. Again, never happen - but I'd love it if it did.

The amount of people this wouldn't bother is amazing really and it's kind of symptomatic of what we've become as a fanbase. 2016 has completely killed the edge off this fanbase.

They are doing basically what we were doing under Rodgers for 2 seasons. If they get Champions League then fair play. They are effectively a couple of injuries away from dropping like a stone though in my opinion. Liverpool are too formidable so should canter to the title.
