That may be the case but it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the definition of Marcus Rashford. It may just be the case that for whatever reason, at Man Utd he’s lost his way. It’s not like there are no examples in the history of football where a player has left a club with their fans, management and the wider public (although i’m not sure why there’s so much public disdain for him) saying good riddance, then he appears at another club and becomes the mustard.

I’d be super surprised if he then turned up at Leicester super motivated.

Sounds like he wants a new challenge away from the Prem. Good luck to him. Amorim seems to be changing things at Utd but he's got a lot to do to get rid of the toxic culture there. Utd haven't exactly had great previous with developing talent through and making the most of their players, since Sir Alex retired anyway.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 27 January 2025 Posted 27 January 2025 Beat Spurs, sign Rashford. The impact of a winning weekend!
Fox 4 Life Posted 27 January 2025 Posted 27 January 2025 (edited) We shouldn't even be considering this without at least 1 replacement, ideally 2. Given there are a few days left and we are completely incompetent at negotiating this is a big ask. We cannot rely on 38 years old Vards and Ayew for the rest of the season. les-tah Posted 27 January 2025 Posted 27 January 2025 (edited) Have there been some rule changes in the MLS this season? There just feels more rumours and signings and more money to play with from the mls this year Edited 27 January 2025 by les-tah

Even if he hadn't already got a move this would be so wrong. Yes on his day a great player. Sadly his days are when he chooses. So many times he's not at the race's. Just a passenger and probably a step to far for him.

Wait another decade and see how much they'll have. Edited 27 January 2025 by purpleronnie
volpeazzurro Posted 27 January 2025 Posted 27 January 2025 In fairness Red Bulls have been doing their homework as they're heard the now frequent rumours about 'cows arse and banjo' comments. It's clearly a sign for them!

Even the in the unlikely scenario that it was possible to loan him, I would not consider this. The man acts like a morose 17 year old, can not have a meaningful conversation and hides behind his personal crew. He needs to change some of his personal advisors before his attitude will improve. 2

Popular Post Sly Posted 31 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 31 January 2025 I’m convinced that when he leaves and gets a run of game time, he’ll be a very good forward. The issue we have with him, is that he’s amongst the highest earners at the club and it’s not sustainable if he isn’t going to be our main striker next season, or remain as a backup. 4 1
