Vestergaard Bertrand Glover Plus the links to Brussel Whispers about Angus Gunn, Hassenhutl The more concerning thing is that this is bound to be another player signing a multi year deal on what will no doubtedly be high wages, at a time when we are constantly getting into trouble off the field for a too high wage bill. The club just doesn't seem to learn any lessons about how they got into this mess in the first place. 1
Popular Post LCFCJohn Posted 7 June 2025 Popular Post Posted 7 June 2025 Just the type of signing Aiyawatt and Rudkin go for, a name who was good a while back who is injury prone, will want high wages and probably lack the motivation of younger players. Fans on the Facebook groups lapping it up as well. The same people who worship Aiyawatt and think he’s doing a great job. Really does show the lack of understanding these people have… 6
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 7 June 2025 Posted 7 June 2025 The only way I would entertain it is if we can shift BDCR and Ox is on a lower wage and is injury free. Lots of ifs and very doubtful that all 3 would happen. I imagine we are being used to drum up interest as per.

About time we started buying young and upcoming players like we used to that would at least have a resale value and not demand stupid wages. Its time for Top to rethink what he is doing to our club. LTID. Posted the above in the comments section of the LM. Won't allow it. LMFAO.
Finnegan Posted 7 June 2025 Posted 7 June 2025 Just a bunch of tabloids all copy and pasting the same thing without saying what the source is. Sounds like rubbish to me.
TonyN11 Posted 7 June 2025 Posted 7 June 2025 He could become a positive influence in the dressing (sorry, treatment) room
Muzzy_Izzn’t Posted 7 June 2025 Posted 7 June 2025 ‘since moving to Turkey he’s missed 132 days through injury‘ Any sane club: club looking to move on from injury prone player due to amount of games missed due to injury….. Leicester city: gerrim in!

damolcfc Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 Hopefully Jesse Lingard comes back and joins him What a team we would have then 😝🫣🫣
Fox 4 Life Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 The most Leicester move ever, current club offloading due to his obscene wages. Enter Rudkin the retard with his cheque book.
LCFCCHRIS Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 Really doubt there’s anything in this. Unless the wages are low (which they won’t be) this feels really unwise.
Edingleyfox Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 Why get another player towards the end of his career on big wages. If true doesn’t sound like anyone has reflected on last season’s business 1
suffolk fox Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 This is a rehashed story from last season, when we were a premier league club. He is not coming here clickbait nonsense. 1

foxfan92 Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 I'm hoping there is nothing to this, or any truth to any other older players we get linked ro. Our entire recruitment remit needs to be young, hungry, up and coming with something to prove and a high ceiling and potentially big sell on value. The rough diamond we can put on show, so that we make a nice profit on them a few seasons down the road, who wont be demanding too high a wage yet, because they're not fully established. We need to be avoiding future PSR issues. We've got older heads already. Too many of them. Please go back to what we were so good at doing not so long ago ...
MPH Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 The only scenerio I can see that would include us going for him is if Ayew or BCR are trying to get an instant return to the prem. surely even we are not that stupid to want him AND both of those?
Finn Claw II Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 We don’t need any more prem experience for the sake it. if we were rid of 6+ of Ayew, BDR, Coady, Faes, Vesty, Ndiddi, Soumane, Skipp and Winks then maybe! And only if on a sensible wage.
JimJams Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 I don't think there's any circumstance where we need Oxlade Chamberlain. We have a host of young exciting forwards who we want to play. He just becomes an obstacle for them or, just as likely, a regular with the physio team. If you get an older player for their experience the first thing you want assurances on is the likelihood of them staying fit. If we wanted him, I'd rather as an 8, but he's not an 8 really is he? He did it a bit at Liverpool because he became a utility player because he either wasn't good enough or wasn't fit enough to be relied on. If there was some guarantee he could stay fit, that might be a good option if there's outgoings. But there is no guarantee so you can only go on his history which is chequered at best.
King Claudio Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 Exactly the sort of player we should be avoiding, in a position we don't need. 1
iancognito Posted 8 June 2025 Posted 8 June 2025 This is the sort of player we used to laugh at other clubs for buying. Genuinely, whole-heartedly, just no.
