It's a financial move, and one considering we are unlikely to do any business in this window is signalling our acceptance that we are very unlikely to stay up.

Whilst coady has been a complete waste (add it to the list) to give him to Wolves where he's a club legend, who are our direct rivals and cant defend is beyond dumb even for us, which just makes it even more clear to me we are making plans for the championship.

Birmingham is probably the capital of podcasts or the capital of team bantz or something, it’s drawing Coady back in and presumably Dawso hates his podcasts, hates bantz and so the swap will do them both good.

The loss is the fact that Wolves will gain from him. And whether its worked or not, he's at least given the impression of having leadership qualities (Admittedly he has shat on those qualities with the Copenhagen debacle & being a bit shit on the footballing side).

This!!!!!!

It's mental that Wolves are now the only side we can realistically overcome to keep a place in the top flight.... and we strengthen them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always really liked Dawson. I have seen several posters say we need a rob huth figure this window. Well a rob huth figure isn't going to be a glamorous signing. Even rob huth when he signed was 31 and had only played 3 minutes worth of first team football in well over a year for stoke.

Without hindsight this place would be in uproar today if to save our season we signed Huth at 31 who was recovering from a knee injury that kept him out for over a year.

If Dawson's legs have not gone, its a good move. He has more about him than Vestegaard and Faes put together. He is also talker and a leader. Great in the air in both boxes. That ball over the top on Saturday (which one you ask ? ALL OF THEM) doesnt go straight through with him there.

Using the Foxes Trust tagline, we are where we are - his legs are a massive thing but if they havent, and putting aside the ridiculously long contract we are about to give him, he is an upgrade on Coady, Vestegaard and Faes.

2 years ago West Ham fans were sad to see him go and he was a fan favourite. They had low expectations from Watford fans prior to the move.
Can’t be any worse than what we have

Think he's trying to say that while Coady is sh*t for us... he'll play for better for Wolves.... considering he was a legend there

The Birch was a legend for City, mate, you think he'd keep us up now?

Coady isn't going to solve their defensive problems.

They're also about to sign a centre back for ten mil. Coady probably won't even play.

What a centre back partnership we could potentially have lol

Dawson is the fifth player in Premier League history to score two own goals in one match. The most recent before him was Wout Faes for Leicester City against Liverpool on 30 December 2022.

the club that just keeps on giving. Masterclass

The idea we’re strengthening Wolves by letting them have Coady is laughable. He’s up there with some of the worst defenders we’ve ever had. Enzo, Cooper and now Ruud don’t rate him enough to play him ahead of Faes and Vestergaard. He’s shite I’ll drive him to Wolves myself,

How are we strengthening them by giving them Coady?

Coady loves wolves quite a bit, here he's giving a signed shirt to a life long wolves supporter last October FB_IMG_1729863804147.thumb.jpg.5a3e46b339a53bdea3ba5781969645fe.jpg

He's more than just a lifelong Wolves supporter when you consider what he's done for charity!!

He's better in their back up three than our back up four

Coady isn't strengthening Wolves.

He couldn't get a game in the championship, how has his leadership helped us exactly?

If it's about having someone in the dressing room who is a leader we may as well get Big Wes back as a cheerleader!
