They've got decent owners and deserve,

the rapid rise.

Our owners have lost interest thus the rapid decline.

Exactly that.. he ain't interested other than flexing his wealth and showing it off to his friends

Enjoyed watching their rise.. good to see something positive in football.. not naive, they've spent big money, sponsored everything in site etc but there is passion there.. right from the top.. it's contagious..

Our owner don't give a shit.. and frankly now..  whilst he's in charge.. neither do most fans

What are the odds on Wrexham beating us opening day with the winner from Vardy and a penalty save from Danny Ward….

And Matty James to open the scoring for them.

all i ask for us next season is to give some of the U21 lads a go, Alves. Nelson, Monga, Page. Evans etc

We've got a real good crop of young talent, the club needs to use them, sack of these ego maniacs in the first team

actually players who want and are proud to be here

I think I’d be quite happy settling for mid-table if it meant binning off all the current senior players and management and using most of the youngsters and a few new signings. It’d be too much pressure expecting them to go up though.

It’s a quick way to get fans back on board too. How refreshing would it be to have a few academy players giving their all every week?

Foreign clubs will look at Faes, Vestergaard, Kristiensen and Soumare.

We might have some lower end EPL/ promoted clubs look at Ndidi, BDCR and Ayew.

Coady, Winks and Daka will be the ones we struggle with most.

To be fair I agree with that.

I suppose what I’m trying to say is there’s a difference between looking at a player and actually making an offer.

Then you’ve got our club’s bizarre reluctance to accept offers to factor in.

And that’s all before you get to the question of whether low-level PL clubs/clubs in Europe will be willing to pay them what they are on here.

Imagine the number of hangers on, tourists and Thai influencers that will be knocking about on the days we play Wrexham and Birmingham at home and a chance to have a selfie with deadpool and Tom Brady and our chairman will absolutely lap it all up whilst being nowhere to be seen when the likes of Oxford, Watford, Norwich etc come to town. Fecking boils my piss just how disconnected they are to our fanbase now.

I don't hate it.

Swap Daka for someone who doesn't have the touch of Russell Brand backstage and we're good to go.

Yeah I can't be doing with Daka as the main striker.

Louie Barry on loan or Franculino Djú from Midjtylland if we want to push the boat out.

Just anyone with a bit of pace, movement and football ability.

Weak and midget midfield. We'll be dominated in the air.

New striker is needed, but get rid of Winks and Skipp too FFS

In what way?

Probably league position, trajectory, financial state and fan engagement.

Obviously new training ground is a material improvement and the academy is doing well. Whether that is negatively affected by the above things failing I don’t know.

Next season's squad as it stands:

One CF in entire squad, great squad management.  :teehee:

18/27 defensive players.

Surely Wrexham would need to spend PSR busting levels to challenge?

Never underestimate the power of a narrative in football.

Plus, with that narrative (back-to-back-to-back, next stop PL, etc etc) they could probably justify a significant increase in sponsorship. They have one helluva headwind overall.
