So not just the OG for Coady, looks like he was the closest defender for all 3 goals conceded today for Wrexham.

Think they'll get relegated, or survive on the final day.

Will be very surprised if they reach the top-eight.

Striker for QPR looks alright

There will never be a day when it doesn’t piss me off we didn’t sign him. It was an open goal, such an obvious transfer and it’s he is doing exactly what we all expected. Pathetic

Bit he didn't want to join us due to competition

Coady + Ward = confirmed relegation

It would defy the law of physics if they can manage to stay up with those two in charge of their defence.

Ward is haunting them from the rehab room, which is fitting because he might as well be a ghost the way shots go straight through him

You make it sound like the player didn't even have a choice in where he wanted to go...

Forget all that reality stuff, he talks a good game

Really do wonder if this is a chance for someone like a Bristol City tbh. Not a single team in the division looks convincing. Not one.

fair point m, I feel if we wanted him we would have got him. We are not in a great place but I honestly believe we have more pull than QPR!

Stoke are notoriously a disgrace but their squad has suddenly got an air of handiness about it and Robins is a good manager.

So far, we're doing better than I expected before the start of the season.

The transfer dealings give me hope we can push for a playoff spot. I look at Southampton and Ipswich, and I see how they're struggling. So, it could be worse.

The team is still crying out for a team leader and/or hero.

Our joint topscorers are Fatawu und Ricardo. I do hope we can do better up front. Strikers and attacking midfielders need to join in.

They really are playing some great stuff and scoring a lot of goals.

My concern for them however with the way they've transitioned to a more high tempo "Red Bull" type playing style under Struber,  is that they will fizzle out as the season progresses.  Let's see.

He allegedly turned us down, as he didn’t think he would be a first choice. So, is that pathetic?

It’s been the start I expected.

I think Marti has done a great job so far. He’s been managing the players perfectly, keeping those who want out on the periphery, and integrating youth.

He’s come in late, had a far from ideal pre season, and has had to pick a club up that probably been in the worst state it’s been in for years, off the back of the one of the most humiliating seasons we’ve had to date.

He’s had a restricted transfer window, and still has uncertainly hanging over his head now concerning FFP charges.

Considering all of that he’s tried create a gritty team that’s hard to beat, whilst working on his ideology.

Now the window has shut, he can look to reintegrate those players on the periphery and start to put his preferred 11 together.

It’s been a positive start, and the bonus to me was yesterday, the second half was much better, and with 10 men we were comfortably better, and probably should could have won it.

It’s clear now who should be starting, and I’m convinced V Cov we will see the likes of Winks, James and Ricardo start.

The league is as shit as always, horrific standard of football, which is good for us, once we sort ourselves out, we will comfortably be one of the better teams.

Like going back to the crazy ex you don’t get on with but is exiting in the bedroom!

Not a thought I needed on Sunday morning, Wilder and the bedroom. 🤮

They will be fine though, will get a manager more suited to this level probably between October and New year and they have good spending power to make more fixes to their squad.

With the money behind them they should try and get someone like Nuno, ie someone who will know how to cope at a higher level if they ever get there.
