Cov just having a little wobble... Southampton and Ipswich definitely capable of catching them now they've got their acts together. Still unsure about Boro but they're up there.

It'd be so Championship if both Coventry and Middlesbrough squander their respective leads and don't get promotion..

If Cov bottle automatics they've got a resurgent Saints and Ipswich to worry about in the playoffs most likely. They play Bristol and Southampton in their next two - that game against the Saints in their current form will go a long way to showing which team's change in fortunes is a blip and which is genuine.

Cov bottle this, Ipswich, Southampton and boro finish above them

I said this a few weeks back, play Ipswich again and Southampton this month as well, they need to get through this month not having their lead significantly cut if they want to do it.

QPR seemingly in better nick this season than they were under Marti McFly??

Imagine my shock!

Wonder if their fans were saying "no manager could improve us" this time last year..

Be interesting to see how Cov hold their nerve. We've seen their current position go both ways previously. When you're top though the pressure is on. Lampard did it so many times as a player though.

They've beaten a lot of teams they've played so far but have a tough December. I'm pretty sure most previous winners have been in this position. I remember losing back to back under Pearson - Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday - it's all about recovering from that. A draw at Preston isn't a bad result for them and they're at home to Bristol City and Ipswich so should fancy their chances.

It's a bad result when Preston were down to ten men.

All about runs this league isn't it. Get out their funk and put 3 wins together and they're back looking comfy.

Picture the scene. Cov to go on a terrible run of form and drop out of the autos, Leicester keep climbing and make the playoffs.

After some semi-finals we're left with an out of form and utterly terrified Coventry up against the mighty Foxes. Wembley is sunny, the Green Man is packed and the beers are flowing. You write the rest of the story...
