Don’t understand how there is any debate there, he jumps in with a scissor action, absolutely nowhere near the ball.

Could’ve easily broke a leg or did ligaments as a result of that, just a really bewildering challenge.

Based on the definition of serious foul play:

a tackle or challenge for the ball that uses excessive force or brutality, endangering an opponent's safety

Think it describes the challenge perfectly, tbh.

Edit - should point out that view is based on modern day football as opposed to what would usually have been given.

I think var would struggle to overturn it because of the high bar involved - jumps in with excessive force and out of control on the follow through

more likely that an appeal tomorrow will be positive for them

Agree.

I just don’t understand what he thought he was possibly trying to do there, braindead.

looking like the 6 points we lost because of the gross mismanagement might actually relegate us again then....

and some of our fans STILL support the owners

It does however we’ve been so appalling over the majority of the season, the 6pts should never have been an issue.

I blame Rudkin for the state of the squad.

Oxford's whole game plan is to play a low block and hit on the break. Not sure they're the sort of team who will be good against a 10 man team sitting deep.

Portsmouth v Oxford

Whats the best result for us with portsmouth having a game in hand.

Definitely not a Portsmouth win though.

What have Plymouth got to do with anything?

Anyway. A Pompey win wouldn’t be very good at all, because they have a game in hand.. win those two and they’re taking it out of our hands.

Best result is a draw, or satisfactory would be an Oxford win.

They don’t have a game in hand either.

Stockport do though, if that factors into anything.
