Not sure why he deserves the full works :dunno: He wasn't very good, we saw for ourselves but being promoted beyond his ability wasn't his fault. Blame lies with whoever picked the team and whoever signed him.

 

Obviously a disaster for us but doesn't deserve special treatment because he's shite. Inevitably, we know he'll play his one and only blinder if he ever comes back :rolleyes:

Let's be truthful if Wrexham sign Ward they ain't finishing in the top 6 no way.

Not sure about that. He's the only player I've seen routinely get booed by Leicester fans while playing for us.

Technically he's not yet out of contract? He's going to be a free agent on 1st July. Was he released already officially?

Rudkin clearly learning from Liverpool's TAA deal.  We'll get £3.75 for him if Wrexham sign him now with 3 weeks left on his contract.

I'm not even sure we'll get £3.75. We'll probably give Ward a refund for the remaining days of his contract and a replica of the Golden Glove.

Wrexham may have taken their eye off the ball a bit if that is legit. I have been assuming there's a pretty smart operation going on behind the facade. This would be a major red flag - would be enough of an error to put them in relegation contention.

 

Remember they have done this before with Ben Foster.

They do seem to have a thing for older players. I mean you can’t criticise 3 promotions in a row but if they are making decisions like this, I could see their progression coming to an abrupt stop!

Wrexham’s journey has been incredible, however I think the step up to the championship will be a massive challenge, they will need to bring in quality which will cost big money and then you have the wage disparity with the existing squad, think it will be a tough season to navigate and wouldn’t be shocked to see them in and around the bottom 6. 
 

I can’t see Phil Parkinson making it to Christmas, and can see Steve Cooper ending up there.
