LestaLad Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Surely anyone working for the club can see the way these appointments will go. It’s the exact same feeling as the Cooper appointment. How can’t they see that? 1
Claudio Fannieri Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Have the club released these names to Percy to guage fan reaction and with a view then that so many go rather give it Kingy, and then they go with that as the cheap and easy option to keep fans happy, I can see them definitely doing this.

Popular Post Iwebema Posted 7 July 2025 Popular Post Posted 7 July 2025 For them to be interviewing Gary O'Neil who has been out of work for some time, only last week. That tells you everything you need to know, they've given themselves the summer off and have only just started to think about this season. They are making it harder and harder to care, its infuriating. 11

If they appoint O'Neil I would go full tin hat conspiracy theorist and say it's not just that King Power don't regard us as a priority, but more likely that they're actually going out of their way to destroy us. 1
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Hopefully if we appoint either of these two it’ll be enough for those currently silent to finally turn on Top and KP.

CWLCFC Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Defo not O’Neil awful record albeit he hasn’t managed in the Champ yet so could be different. Wilder i’d take based on last season looked decent whenever I saw them and did well to push automatics with a points deduction. Only issue with Wilder, he’s only really been any good at Sheffield United not with Watford or Middlesborough, so it’s a hard choice.
sdb Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 There's a genuine possibility that the owners feel so hurt by the (justified) criticism that they're just hoping to ruin the club and then jump. At least it feels that way. Literally everyone here could run the club better.

Complaints of a lack of noise from the club around managerial appointment followed by “no, not that noise!” However - there is a couple of things to consider here… The information about interviews and who led them suggest this info has been passed on via the club - that it’s come via Percy strengthens that idea. In which case, it then becomes quite odd that you would allow the name drops of two out of work candidates that are on your shortlist if you’re actually planning on hiring one of them. I would therefore conclude that the preferred candidate is a name not mentioned in the tweet… and given the club is hopeful to conclude a deal “later this week” that would suggest the appointment is perhaps not as simple as just agreeing financial terms with a sole party. 1

The date is the 19th September. Leicester are being player-managed by Conor Coady. In his latest leaks, Rudkin has released the names Sam Allardyce & Iain Dowie to the press to "gage fan reaction".

21st Century Fox Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 So we’re going for a cheap option to allow any new owners to sack them off at minimal cost and appoint their own choice… maybe.

AKCJ Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Been relegated for nearly 3 months now and we're still in the "hope to identify a preferred candidate this week" phase. These jokers are not fit for purpose. They have to go. 3
Tommy G Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Yet you'll all be there lapping this sh*t up at the KP this season. Could see this shambles coming a mile off.

The REAL issue is who is doing the interviews. Top is clueless and relies on Rudkin to run his club. Rudkin is clueless and relies on Top to employ him because no one else is stupid enough to let him anywhere near their football club. It really doesn't matter who our manager is and I refuse to get angry about it. I'm too busy being angry about the sheer incompetence of those in charge of our club and the blatant lack of accountability that they are being held to. I fcuking hate that I love this football club.
TheGoldenGod Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 I cannot fathom half of those from Dorsett are out of work and genuinely harder to not talk to them than to talk to them so what the F has taken them so long?
