My ideal would be Kieran McKenna not getting any premier League interest and us convincing him we're a better long term option than Ipswich. I think he's a brilliant manager with a really good style of football.

Admittedly I think there's 0% chance of this happening but if we hadn't landed ourselves in such a financial mess we should be in a position to cherry pick a championship manager.

I tend to agree with your McKenna choice, he'd be a good fit for us.

There's an arrival tomorrow lunchtime at EMA from a Private airport on the outskirts of Eindhoven....

A plane with seemingly no fixed base, that then returns to Budel at 14:45 the same day...

could be for Forest unlikely be for us.

Also there's whole world out there away from football that can afford private planes .

Literally every day private planes arrive and depart EMA most have nothing to do with football.

I was just having a laugh to be honest. Boring as hell in here.

Would take Dyche all day long as previously stated.

Trouble is we are currently a basket case at present and no one in there right mind would touch us with a bargepole.

Pudkin ( Rudders) has a relationship with Dyche which i hope would convince him to join.

Rohl etc are out the window given the current KP situation.

The anti Dyche brigade will eat humble pie if he turns us down as we be stuck with an out of work loser.... cue hassenhuttel et al

dyche is out of worklol:ph34r:

I didn't think I'd get to this point, but if it is gonna be Dyche, I'd rather stick with Ruud. I'd rather let him have the opportunity to try and build something with a full preseaon and the chance to lay his foundations with the playing squad. It's just in pure hope that he has managed to learn something on the job and something changes. Don't get me wrong, it's a poor choice and massively uninspiring, but I don't think I could bare to watch us with Dyche in the dugout.

What a mess

As awful as it sounds this is where my head is at as well, that’s not to say I want Ruud to stay, ideally we start the new season with a young, hungry, innovative coach but if the only choice is Dyche or Ruud, then I say stick and give him the chance to completely rebuild the club, move on the shite and use the academy as much as possible to frame our future.

I think it's a definite sign of everything that is wrong with the club at the moment. Even when relegation was confirmed, I had hope of, as you say of a young hungry, innovative manager coming in. Someone or something for us to at least have some hope in. It's just under 1 week to July and not a single word, the Rohl rumours don't seem to be strong enough to be a possibility, the Dyche rumours seem to have more substance and are unfortunately highly likely. I just hope something materialises that can be seen as a positive but I think with all the other noise, that hope is vastly fading!

With all this talk of KP finances this week, I'm leaning towards just keeping Ruud on.

The names in the frame really don't seem that much better. Feels like we'd just be throwing money away.

We'd still then hold the option of a strategic sacking later in the season

Maybe Ruud would have done a better job if we was actually allowed to employ a team and sign someone (notwithstanding Woyo who was bargain basement stuff anyway). If Ruud isn't good enough, neither is Edwards.

Bring on Rohl!

Cifuentes wouldn’t shock me.

Definite dark horse for the job. Horrifically streaky record at QPR but did a good job overall. Would suit our squad too I think.

Leaning towards the option that saw us not score a goal at home in 4 months, interesting.

Allowing a manager to rebuild a squad when he’s got next to zero support from fans and has shown the players nothing to convince them he’s the man is suicide, I recon we go with your option.
