Middlesbrough at home was a cold one, about 2012. Blackpool away in the gene Kelly stand in feb 08

That boro home game was unbelievably cold, the penalty save from Kasper made it worth it.

In the old Double Decker, if you sat on the front row upstairs in the winter - Pleat/Lee/Little era - your feet were always in about two or three inches of freezing water. I could never feel them by half-time.

Away at Copenhagen.

I immediately thought of this one, freezing all day long and very cold in the ground at night.

The total opposite of Bruges away before!

Boro at home that Friday night game on Sky when about 7000 of us turned up was another.

QPR FA Cup this season. Genuinely thought my hands and toes were going to drop off. Had to jump into Lidl on the way back to the car just to warm up as I was in so much pain I don't think I'd have made it.

Bournemouth at home, March 2018 (Mahrez's last minute free-kick equaliser). I remember driving to Leicester was really treacherous with the snow and ice on the roads. Although it did thaw out a bit by game time, as indicated by huge slabs of snow and ice falling from the KP roof during the game.

Walsall away on a Tuesday night in the League 1 season - windy and snow piled up. Tom Cleverley with a beautiful goal though

And the snowball fight three the stewards just backed off and let us have at it.

Think that was the night only 9,000 could make it. Players were forced to abandoned their cars and walk to the stadium due to the heavy snow which left the traffic gridlocked. Even though we won, the game should have never gone ahead.

Mansfield, FA Cup 2002. Must've been the last cup match at Filbert Street. Bleedin' freezing. Sons first ever match and James Scowcroft became his hero (and Filbert Fox).

Arsenal at home in FA cup replay, I think 2000. The night Flowers and Arphexad both had blinders. Was so cold. 120 minutes and then pens. Obviously the end result was great but it was freezing.

Copenhagen away CL.

Boring 0-0 draw didn't really help.

Probably been several Boxing Day/New Year fixtures that have been absolutely baltic in the concrete cauldron of the KP...

Sheff Wed away last season

Pretty sure it was below zero

Absolutely ****ing freezing that night. Definitely wasn't dressed appropriately either. Don't even think I had a coat which was proper daft.

Didn't help that we were awful. They should have  had that game won in the first 10 minutes IIRC.

Boxing day at home to Watford which ended at 4-4, had to get there early because it ended up being a sell out.

Being stuck in a freezing kop, right at the front which was like a freezer that particular day, by the time the teams ran out I was froze solid.

Man City away 1995, way below zero, heavy sleet and no roof in the Kippax, it took 2 days for my coat to dry and the supporters coach didn’t arrive until injury time!

Coincidentally, the night of Cantona’s kung-fu kick.

It wasn't the coldest night, but walking from my city centre flat to the ground to get a coach to Elland Road, I got absolutely soaked through wearing a hoodie, and it was still soaking when I got to the match. That was cold through my own idiocy.

One game really stands out to me but it's not following Leicester, mate is a Wednesday fan and we went to watch Sheffield Wednesday away at MK Dons in January 2013, Tuesday night kick off in the FA Cup, this was before Stadium MK had finished construction, the private boxes at the top of the stands had not yet been installed so there was a massive gap behind the away fans, it was a windy night and the temperature was in the minus, the icy wind was coming through the gap at top of the stadium and whipping down the stands, genuinely couldn't feel my feet after about 15 minutes.

Sheffield Wednesday absolutely stunk the place out, and Dave Jones sat in the dugout with his arms crossed and literally didn't move the entire game, fans ended up giving him dogs abuse for his completely lack of effort to change anything or rally the team/fans. I'll never forget how cold I felt that night. It wasn't even ridiculous temperatures, but that icy wind was whipping down the stands making it feel like it was -10.

Can't remember the year, but I think the game was over the festive period, away to Hull. I didn't thaw out until the New Year ( and I think we lost too)

The two coldest winters since 1963, I think, were  probably1978-79 and 1981-82.    The football fixture list was decimated both seasons.

Stoke away (0-0) in Dec 1978 was a contender for the coldest, darkest, grey-skied day ever.   Not to mention the most amazing defensive performance, literally hanging on to a 0-0 for the entire 90 minutes.

Watford home (1-1) in Dec 1981 was one of the coldest day City have played on.

The temperature got to a maximum of about -8 C during the day.

They removed the balloon covering the pitch at 2pm, and by 3pm the pitch had frozen rock hard.   in 60 minutes!

When I got home at 7pm, the thermometer in my back garden in Leicester read -17 C

I believe a record cold temperature near Shrewsbury was set that night, something like -24 C (which if I think was broken again a month later).
