Maybe just timing of the filming but he looked knackered during that final episode last night, seemed to struggle with the training schedules over in Italy and made reference to how different it was in comparison to here.

Certainly miss his ‘all in’ commitment and hunger, even in the face of his injuries, unsettled family and the burglary he still gave all he could in matches, more than can be said for any of our lot last season apart from James.

Yeah I hate these documentaries that you're forced to watch. I wish the remotes had buttons that could turn them off

Are you actually serious?

How do you expect anyone to know whether something is good or bad without watching it?

For the record I'm talking about the ITV trashumentary

Documentary is boring pointless shite.

Really enjoyed the work you've done in rattling some of the forum, great work.

For what its worth I thought the Netflix documentary was a bit naff and dont have much interest in the Vardy's reality show either

He's an interesting person and very different from your average footballer both in terms of character and career so it's a shame the recent documentaries and series have been so superficial and bland.

He just doesnt come across as very charismatic or entertaining in front of a camera, which is fine really as he isnt an actor or TV star or whatever.

Watching a programme about Jamie I get - he's an interesting character who has achieved great things against the odds in the most popular sport in the world. Watching a programme about the woman that married him whose most notable achievement is attaining WAG status I don't get at all.

I actually agree with you. Absolutely love him as a player but always found him a VERY tough listen whenever he’s on podcasts or interviews

Both seem grounded tbh, Media love to spin shit up.

The man is a legend, reminds me of Eminem for some reason lol that don't give a **** attitude.

Thought it was a good watch.

Going to racing Santander apparently, will be interesting to see him against Barca and Real Madrid.

Also surely people aren't calling Vardy boring personality wise, considering his personality on and off the pitch is probably as iconic as his ability on it. Don't think anyone has ever come across well in an interview.

Can't believe he can't get better than that.

I watched 10 minutes of Rebekah’s struggle to find baked beans in Italy.

I’m not judging anyone who’s entertained by that, but it’s not for me.

Apparently has rating  very poorly on ITV so probably not alone there .

Seen both the Netflix and ITV programmes and he’s pretty reluctant and reserved in both. I sense that’s very much not the Vardy those who know him get to see.

In both it’s pretty clear that one of the two people in that marriage is very keen on the exposure and profile…

Vardy has the air of the guy that’s been forced to tag along to a couples dinner date with another couple where he’s bored as hell by the other couple but his wife is best mates with the other woman and loving it.

It's plainly obvious JV prefers to do his talking on a football pitch.

This type of tv limelight is not for him, he goes along with it, but isn't that comfortable, or at ease with it at all.

If it was purely down to him, he'd probably have nothing to do with it.

I guess his wife, agent & the tv companies have convinced him it's easy money to add to your pension pot.

Dont blame them for cashing in as much as they can whilst they still can. Documentary about his football story, yes, documentary about his day to day life, no interest.

As much as I love him I do think outside interest in him will disappear pretty quickly once he does retire.

Don't see him going to coaching or management so take as much as dosh as you can now.
