Vardy should have had the 17/18 award, his numbers in Puel's year were ridiculous in that set up.

 

This year I would say Hermansen, his form up to his injury kept us competitive league table-wise.

It's not just that. Muzzy and Lenny were simply much better players. Savage ran about a lot (of course you need players like that) but there wasn't much else to his game.

 

Guppy is another player who I think could and probably should have won it instead of Savage.

I actually liked Wellens. He was always willing to hold onto the ball for a bit longer, waiting for the right pass to, say, Andy King
