Which is a double edged sword. We were all for it when it meant selling players we didn't really want or need to sell and getting the likes of £80m for Harry Mcguire but it's also a nightmare when we can't shift the likes of Booby Soumare!

He’s not long come back to full training following his surgery has he - think that would have been a huge issue in trying to negotiate and sort of sale at an earlier point.

Doesn't help that Rudkin is obliged to open each sales call with an elongated Shakespearian intro,

Funny how we don’t get called hard to deal with by Chelsea, spurs or Newcastle when they were pulling our pants down. 
 

Shouldn’t be making a deal for someone like mads easy imo!  Be easy for faes sure… but not your valuable assets

The problem we have is we’ve rather visibly replaced him already - to the point it would be down right awkward if we didn’t sell him.

 

I don’t think we dare risk not selling him now.

£25-30m and sadly we have to cash in, he started the season as one of the best keepers in Europe, his form absolutely collapsed when he came back from injury (In his defence he was playing at such a level the fall was always going to look dramatic), still played a huge role and was one of the few players that can walk away with his head held high. 

Best of luck to him, he played a huge role in us going up, and now he's repaying our faith potentially in a deal that might help to get us out of a PSR hole. Absolutely massive potential on this lad, he could have been the new Kasper if we had stayed up.

Why would they risk an injured player? I wouldn't want us to sign anyone injured or take that risk

Yeah I know just rubbish it’s had to be so late into pre season and doesn’t give us much room to do anything easily .

He’s been training on the grass, feel he may not have played any friendlies is everyone knows he’s off and that’s why he isn’t being risked in games?

Jakub is a ready made replacement should he go. Weve got AB, we'd probably promote Bausor if he hasnt been already with being away with the first team. 

 

Its not that mad a situation mate. I dont want to lose Mads but probably helps us out financially.

Would be good business if we can get £25m+.

 

Hopefully this will kickstart some activity. Get this done, Coady gone and we can then hunt the striker we desperately need

What is good though is that we have a ready made replacement in training and has proven he's good enough and we don't have to spend any money. 

 

How many teams can do that in the keeper department?

I can live with hermansen and coady going but not BEK it's not even worth him going financially.

Gutted hermansen is going. This club really do like to take 1 step forward 2 back

Hermansen is the easiest for me to accept because we have a very good replacement lined up ‘for free’

Yeah I am confident in Jakub as well. Knew mads would be off and keepers is actually not a bad position for us it’s more the fact would have money to spend a bit earlier and not rush deals any deals through , not that we would 😂 

Didn’t mean it to come across as why would we as I knew it would happen 🙂
