That structure is changing, like ours did.  £40mill on Rutter from the championship.  £25mill on O'riley from celtic.  £30mill on Kostoulas from Olympiacos.  £30mill on Minteh.  £25mill+ on Wieffer, Gruda and Kadioglu.

It very much is their type of signing.

Indeed they will run out of money at some point, especially if they are paying wages commensurate with the transfer fees.

That's another call made by his agent to a club that obviously needs a 10. "Monitoring".

Hopefully all they do is ‘monitor’ for the next week until the release clause supposedly expires and we can whack up the price to eliminate any lingering interest in him.

They will be fine as long as the continue to sell players as well. Once they miss out of the one or two big sales for a decent profit they may start to struggle.

This is the last three seasons and this season so far.

Really hoping we don’t lose Bilal but if we do, it’s so important we reinvest that money.

Finn Azaz would be my No.1 target should Bilal go. He’s got 44 G/A in 91 games across the past two seasons, absolutely ridiculous numbers. He's played all but 1 game in the championship over the past 2 years as well. 15m plus add ons I think would get it done.

Easier to introduce youth in the Championship than in the Premier League, should we go up.

You don’t have to start to introduce. This style of pressing football is going to require an entire squad, many of the young players will get the opportunity to prove themselves.

Monga is. He prefers the 10. Let him have it.

He may prefer it but personally I think you are taking his best traits away, for now Monga is a winger imo.

hes a great winger.. but it looks like we want more goals from midfield, we’ve got mav and fats who can score from the wing so having his as a 10 might work..

I see him 100% as a 10. He'd cause chaos, and has slightly less responsibility to cover and structural restraint. If hes the generational talent we think he is, he needs a free(ish) role to cause absolute mayhem

Could see Spurs making a bid for him.

Maddison finished,  they need a prem ready replacement and thats going to cost. No way that happens

True, its not as binary as I was making out - they should get plenty of time this season.

BEK certainly has a lot of potential, and i can see him ending up at a top club, but not yet. He's had one season where he's stood out as looking the best of a bad bunch. The stats hardly suggest he 'tore' up the league.

I'd have thought he is on the radar of many a club, but the price tag may well be a put off given how unproven he is.

Have a feeling he'll stay and then get a really good move after having an impressive season.

It’s possible the panel won’t sit until the end of the year or early next year, let alone deliver its verdict. And then of course we may appeal. So it may not be until early late winter/early spring next year that we know what it’s going to be.

Spurs will go for EZE at CP, then CP will come in for Bilal, which I think is Bilal level atm.0

The danger with that approach is you have to carry the £200 million loss for 3 years! It seems much better to carry the losses over a number of years, because as you rightly say, to be complaint you need to match some of the profits from the previous years as they drop off.

The 200 million loss that summer doesn't show like that as PSR, its spread over the length of the contracts. Which is covered by profit they are making on players.

This season on Pedro, Estupiñán and Adingra they have made around 60 million in profit on those players alone.

Leeds fans I work with seem to think this could be announced later today or tomorrow. Not sure if they think they're just winding me up or if they've heard genuine rumours.

Seems like they might be jumping the gun

No chance it's that close tbh. Tavolieri would be tweeting on the hour every hour.

Get him in even if BEK stays. Make BEK the 8 and watch them make magic happen
