The shit **** made it clear he wasn’t going to keep playing here but no one was prepared to pay the money, now he’s out the club and not spreading toxic behaviour and he either moves permanently or he’s in the shop window to move elsewhere next summer. Absolutely not, if no one wants to buy you then that's not the club's fault and BEK will have to get on with it. If he is one of our best players he either gets sold or stays, no half arsed loans. If the club have not been unreasonable wit their demands then surely he understands this and gets on with it. 2

If it is a loan, he damn well needs to make sure there’s a permanent move somewhere next summer! Already happened with Soumare and Kristiansen, no reason it can’t happen again. Imagine it will have the same effect on squad morale too, didn’t want to be around through the rough but want to be around when we’re back in the big time.
moore_94 Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 We could have definitely got West Ham to buy him for less than they ended up paying for Mateus Fernandes
StanSP Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 How's it turned into a loan We've been absolutely shafted. 2

I suppose it'd mean we pay out less in sell on fee as well with the purchase price being lower. I'm fxxking grasping here... what I mean, we dont know the loan fee, suspect its between 5/10 mil, which isnt bad to get someone in and it isnt full on Stuggart's books, so it might look bad but the loan fee takes us to what we want 1

As much as I like to slate Rudders and co, it would actually indicate that we don't need more large scale money through the door. Especially with the fact that we immediately need to present a plan to the EFL. We simply must be in a more comfortable position. 1 1
Dahnsouff Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 His value could well increase I guess, more than a season in the Championship would provide Trying to see the upside is getting kinda tiring.
FoxesWalk Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 This is a moronic deal, likely to be made even worse by us not replacing him.
MGLCFC Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 If sold for £25m, what profit are we making? £4m? So if the loan fee is £5m and his wages £2m, then the profit is £7m for this year. If we sell for £22m next year, that's abetter deal than a straight £25m sale isn't it?
JonnyBoy Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 A loan 🤣🤣 couldn’t actually make this up. Doesn’t permanently get us out the club and we don’t get any money in apart from wages. Incredible

Difference is we really didn't want or need those two to be here, BEK would still be a huge benefit to our team and promotion hopes.
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 31 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 31 August 2025 Let's face it, nobody has been accurate on El Khannouss all summer. Today is a fine example of that. This journalist has had some howlers on us in the past an'all by the way. 6

dbtcity Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 This could actually turn out to be a Rudkin masterclass if he’s inserted say a 5m loan fee making the total package 30m (if they commit) but reducing Genks % of the profit 👀…. Or am I blinkered by Rudkins dealings this summer and in reality he’s still a useless turd 2
FrankieADZ Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 there will be a LOAN FEE, he wont be leaving for nothing, so if he goes, the whole deal will be over 30mil
honeybradger Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 I think you just have to accept we are one of the worst run clubs in football and not think about it too much.

There was no noise around either of them, no sitting out games, they went on loans much earlier in the window and didn’t prevent us building our squad for the season without them. Will be really poor if he has forced his way out and comes back and fans should remember and make it uncomfortable for him.
Micky Posted 31 August 2025 Posted 31 August 2025 Imagine a deal where they cover his wages, pay a big lump sum and we can get him back at some point...

His value increasing is no good to us if Stuttgart decide to take up the option to buy, which they would in that case. So you can shove that upside

I hate these deals, if he excels then our ceiling is fixed and if he bombs or gets a serious injury then he's back here. All downside and no upside. 5

If it’s 25m option + 5/10m loan fee + -2m wages, it’s not the end of the world. Disappointing for sure, but not disastrous as we don’t this cash for incomings.
